What is your guys take on Ball State QB Keith Wenning as maybe a 5th round prospect?


I'm really starting to like him. Good arm strength, good accuracy and seems like a great and hard working guy! He's got good size (6'3, 220) and Ball State has only gotten better with him under center...


I know he hasn't played in the SEC or Pac 12, but MAC did give us a guy like Big Ben...I think he could be a real steal in the lets say 5th round! He hasn't faced "real competition", but from what he has shown, i think he could have a chance.

What do you guys say? Should we take a flyer on him?

CBS/NFLDraftScout has him currently ranked as the 16th QB and 298th player in the draft overall. Using a 5th on him is probably a reach, as he is likely a 7th round guy.
