So generally, the draft order has been
decided for the most part. We have the 3rd pick in the first round, 7th pick in the second round, and the 6th pick in the third round. Apparently the tiebreaker rules don't just swap order every round when there's multiple teams, they shuffle the order. Meaning we wouldn't be at the top of the tiebreaker again until the sixth round. This could potentially make a difference if we we're to grab a QB in rounds 2 through 4. Texans, Redskins, Browns, Raiders, Falcons, Bucs ahead of us in round 2. Texans, Redskins, Raiders, Falcons, Jets ahead of us in round 3. Also, we'd possibly have the 5th pick in the forth round where several QBs could go potentially to even teams that don't need quarterbacks.
ROUND 1
1. Texans
2. Rams (from Redskins)
ROUND 2
1. Texans
2. Redskins
3. Browns
4. Raiders
5. Falcons
6. Buccaneers
ROUND 3
1.Texans
2. Redskins
3. Raiders
4. Falcons
5. Jets (from Buccaneers)
ROUND 4
1. Texans
2. Redskins
3. Falcons
4. Buccaneers
ROUND 5
1. Texans
2. Redskins
3. Buccaneers
ROUND 6
1. Texans
2. Redskins
ROUND 7
1. Texans
2. Redskins
3. Browns
4. Raiders
5. Falcons
6. Buccaneers
However, don't forget we also have Baltimore's fourth and fifth round picks and Detroit's fifth round pick.
Guess what I found?
Two picks from the Lions!
We get the 10th pick in both the fifth and sixth rounds, according to Bleacher Report.
Also, in Round 4, instead of 16 or 17, we get 14 or 19 from the Ravens. I can't find anything that explains the different numbers.
I did a web search for the complete 2014 draft order to find out which pick numbers the Lions and Ravens gave us. This is what I found on The Bleacher Report:
1. 3
2. 7
3. 6
4. 5
4. 14 (from Ravens)
5. 4
5. 10 (from Lions)
5. 16 or 17 (from Ravens)
6. 3
6. 10 (from Lions)
7. 7

This made no sense at all. No matter what website I went to there was no "or 19" in the fourth round or reason given for the different number. I double-checked and yes, I did see it correctly - 10th pick in both rounds 5 and 6, even though there were four 7-9 teams. Water Football got it right - Tennessee owns the 10th pick in Round 6. But even there it is not "14 or 19" and "16 or 17" in rounds 4 and 5.

I added all of your numbers up like you wanted.
They equal 150.
150 is the number of original pokemon.
Snorlax is an original pokemon.
Snorlax looks like an offensive lineman.
I bet we draft an offensive lineman.
Thanks for your help, JW.

Was always a good Pokemon to have in your back pocket come time for the Elite 4.
High Score, I did not say add up the numbers. I just want to know why our extra fourth round pick is not 16 or 17.
JW, the Jaguars have the Lions 5th Round pick but don't have the Lions 6th Round pick.

Hahaha good stuff
There should be a limit on how many threads one poster can create.
Thank you for this, JW. I was wondering where our picks fell, good job relaying the information.

Or creates useless threads.

That was what I thought. What was Bleacher Report thinking?
It is good to know that will be the 10th pick in Round 5. The Lions are rotating with three other 7-9 teams: the Titans, Giants, and Rams.

There is no reason to think this is one of them.

Sure it is... This couldn't go in the NFL Draft Order thread?

So you don't think we will draft an offensive lineman? What about Snorlax?
Have they comp picks been decided yet?
