alright guys ! i know its been a while but i thought id bring you all up to scratch with whats happening with fulham at this moment in time.
Honestly its been a rough few weeks , we are currently sitting in 19th in the table , however there are only a few points between the teams from 14th and below . We haven't won in a while in the league , since the 1st of january :yucky: but we are on a good cup run. Today is a very big day for those who follow fulham and football as its the transfer deadline day. This is a major day in every males calendar who lives in the UK as its when players come and go.
We have signed a new defensive midfielder - William Kvist . Not seen much of him but apparently a very good player and had he 2nd highest about of interceptions in the bundesliga ( German League )
We have also signed another attacking midfielder on loan from tottenham - Lewis Holtby. Very Very good player , should be playing champions league football and is a massive massive coup for us . he will add creativity and pace which is exactly what we need.
We are also in talks with a striker called -
Kostas Mitroglou - Very good striker , plays for greece and also plays in the champions league for olympiakos. Deal is suppose to be costing around 14 million euro's . ( Fulhams biggest ever transfer deal ) . However, west ham are trying to hijack the deal
Other deals currently being rumoured are that of a left back and a new defender but nothing has been confirmed yet.
Dimitar Berbatov is leaving ! apparently going to AS Monaco , Thank god . and Adel Taarabt has joined AC Milan.
Any questions let me know ! , Transfer window shuts tonight at 11pm ( UK TIME )

I saw Heitinga might be coming to Fulham as well.
Fulham is 19th out of 20 teams with the bottom 3 (18,19,and 20 obviously) facing relegation. Hopefully the players signed during this transfer window can help out for the rest of the season and keep Mr. Khan in the Premier League.
We are tied at 19 points with the hated West Ham Hamsters and are 1 ahead of Cardiff City. Ahead of us are seven teams with points ranging from 21 up to 24. The top ten teams have points ranging from 27 up to 53 (Manchester City).

west ham FAILED .
Mitroglu signed : “I’m very happy that I’m here in the Premier League, and especially with Fulham which is a major club in the league,” Mitroglou told the official website. “I’m here because I want to fulfil the Club’s targets and I want to help the Club achieve their goals. I was really flattered that they wanted me so badly and I’m really happy to be here.

I know that he has a lot of experience in football. He explained to me how he works and I am really looking forward to working with him.

“I also spoke to Giorgos [Karagounis] before I came here and he told me only the best things about Fulham.”

Lewis Holtby - New loan signing Lewis Holtby was full of enthusiasm when fulhamfc.com caught up with him on Friday afternoon.

The 23-year-old had earlier put pen to paper as he completed his loan move from Tottenham Hotspur, and he was clearly thrilled to have made the temporary switch across London.

“I’m very happy and I’m looking forward to playing some games,” Holtby said. “I’m happy to play for Fulham and I’ll try my best to help us stay up. I’m bringing a hunger to play football and win games. I want to play week in, week out to try and help the team with my abilities.

“I’ll do what I can to help us beat teams and keep us up and out of the bottom three and ensure that we have a good remainder of the season. I’ve had very good talks with the gaffer and it just felt right – it’s a nice place here. It feels absolutely right and I can’t wait to play.”

Holtby became René Meulensteen’s third signing following the arrivals of Clint Dempsey and William Kvist, while he was joined on Fulham’s books later in the day by Greek striker Konstantinos Mitroglou, and he admitted he was impressed by what our Head Coach had to say.

“He told me about the way he wants to play and the way the Club is ticking and that really got me on board,” he explained. “From the first meeting when we spoke together, I just got the feeling that I should sign here and hopefully I can play some games and show my abilities. I can’t wait to show everyone at Fulham, and all the fans, what I can do.

Our lads go up against Manchester United this weekend at their home field. Could be a tough go.
Fulham has sunk to dead last now and is 4 points behind to avoid relegation. A win is 3 pts and a draw is 1 point. We will shock the world and beat Man U.
Ugh. Not looking good. What time is the match Sunday eastern time? 11am?
11 AM ET.
The Feb 22 match at West Bromwich is a must-win, they are one of the teams ahead of us in the "table" (standings).

Would be a good time to win PF*, I can't see it myself, but West Brom did beat Man U earlier this season.
Let me guess, they play well in 1st half but don't score and then give away four goals in the second and look terrible. If they get relegated it pretty much means watching them HD on my television nearly every week is a thing of the past. I was actually pretty surprised in the first place that att broadcasts every game except for a couple maybe.
A win today puts us ahead of Cardiff City and up a place to 19th, 2 points behind Sunderland at 17th. The 18-19-20th teams get relegated out of the Premier League. Mr. Kahn does not want to see that happen.
Fulham beating Man U on their "pitch" (is that correct?) or field would be stunning.
Man U! Will our boy Shad be there....
Fulham winning 1-0 with 30 minutes gone. Well worked goal
This game reminds me of the Jags/Broncos game this season. Early success with the inevitable takeover by the vastly superior team.
Wow Fulham ties it in the 94th minute to get the draw
I can't believe they tied it up. I knew Man U was going to score there in the second. There were too many chances. I just can't beleive they got another like 30 seconds later. Cheers to Fulham for scoring a late one.
Nice!! If they beat W Bromwich , will they escape relegation?
So how does a draw figure into the relegation points scheme? I really would like to see Fulham survive this year.
I can't figure out whats wrong with ManU. Who cares though, go City!
