And let's make a fourth, just in case. Again, only picks or announced trades should go in this thread
With the 4th pick the Cleveland Browns select, Johnny Manziel

[Image: johnny_manziel_jersey_switch___cleveland...6mz7vs.jpg]
With the 5th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft (Via Jacksonville) the Detroit Lions select the number one player on their board and arguably the most explosive player in college football..........................................................

Sammy Watkins, WR Clemson University

Watkins will provide the Lions with a legitimate WR1 playing WR2 and will help take away double and triple teams from Calvin Johnson. Everyone saw what happened last season when Johnson was out for a game, now it will be a different story.

Atlanta Falcons.....................your on the clock.

With the 6th pick in the 2014 NFL draft the Atlanta Falcons select:

Taylor Lewan, OT Michigan

I selected this player because the falcons need help on the oline and Lewan is the most pro ready prospect amongst them and they are in win now mode.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are on the clock.
With the 7th Pick in the Draft

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Khalil Mack

Outside Linebacker, Buffalo

(we wanted Watkins then wanted to trade back to the mid teens to get Ebron who we thought was a reach at 7)

The vikings are on the Clock

With the 8th pick, the Vikings select:

Anthony Barr.

I don't like Derek Carr. Sue me.

With the 9th overall pick, the Bills select...

CJ Mosley, ILB, Alabama. Big need gets filled with high quality player. He's not Sammy Watkins (curses, Detroit!) but no complaints.

With the tenth pick of the Jaguar's Forum Annual Participatory Mock Draft Extravaganza!

The Jacksonville Jaguars select:

Ra'Shede Hageman - Defensive Tackle - Sr. - University of Minnesota

[Image: NadineBabu_1384472067_RaShede-Hageman_99_II.jpg]

http://withthefirstpick.com/2013/07/29/2...minnesota/

Hageman is listed at 6’6” 311lbs and is incredibly impressive physically. He carries his weight well, possesses remarkable strength, acceleration and quickness.

The first thing that stands out is Hageman’s bull rush. Because he is able to get off the ball so quickly and is agile, he is able to generate a ton of momentum quickly with his size. Combining that with the strength he has, his bull rush can be downright scary. The part that makes it so effective for Hageman is that he then adds in his arm strength into the equation. He gets in to the opponent’s body enough that he can then bench press them to penetrate and he does not stop at one rep, but keeps doing it. The result is if they are able to hold up through the first push, his second one can then throw them out of the way. Hageman will also periodically flash the hump move made famous by Reggie White. It remains to be seen if he can carry that over to the NFL, but it is a scary thought.
With the 11th pick Tennessee takes

Blake Bortles, QB UCF

As far as I'm concerned he is the best QB in the draft. He makes all the throws, he has a prototype NFL frame and some sneaky athleticism. For all the hubub of flashy running QBs recently, what still wins in the NFL is a guy who drops back, reads the D, steps up, takes a hit and throws the ball and that's Blake Bortles in a nutshell. It pains me to see him go to the stinking Tacks.

With the 12th pick of the 2014 Participatory Draft, the New York "Football" Giants select:

Greg Robinson, OT, Auburn.

This is a perfect example of need meeting great value. Robinson might be the best OT in the draft and the Giants will be licking their chops if he is available at 12.
With the thirteenth pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the St. Louis Rams select.....

.....Calvin Pryor, Safety, Louisville.

Most likely a surprise to many, who would have Clinton-Dix as the top rated player of the position, but Calvin Pryor possesses everything a team could want in a safety. He's a versatile player who can work up close to the line or play the deep ball. A incredibly physical safety, who will pair with TJ McDonald to be one of the harder hitting tandems in the league. Has the necessary ball skills to transition well into a free safety at the next level. The most complete safety in the draft, who may be a surprise pick now, but won't be in hindsight.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Chicago Bears are now on the clock.

Da Bears are thrilled to have their pick of corners.

Darqueze Dennard welcome aboard!
Steelers select Justin Gilbert, CB Oklahoma State

The Ravens select Zack Martin OL Notre Dame. Tough to leave Mr. Evans and Mr. Clinton-Dix on the board, but Zack is BAP and O-line is a huge need. Gotta protect the 120 million dollar man.
With the 17th pick in the 2014 NFL draft,

The Dallas Cowboys select:

Mike Evans, WR, Texas A&M

GOOD TIMES!!!!

Oops...wrong Mike Evans...

[Image: USATSI_6756446_149008644_lowres_640x360.jpg]

Most expect the Cowboys to go to the defensive line early in this year's draft, but the intrigue of pairing the physically-talented Evans with Dez Bryant is too much to pass up. This could be Tony Romo's curtain call with the Cowboys; if he can't take them deep into the 2014 playoffs with a team that also sports weapons DeMarco Murray, Jason Witten, and Miles Austin then the Cowboys could move on to a new signal caller next season.

At 6'5", Evans is considered by many to be a taller Anquan Boldin and a perfect complement to the fiery Bryant. While he doesn't possess world-class speed, Evans is certainly fast enough and will keep the opposing defense honest in coverages. Uses his body well in traffic and attacks the ball. Excellent vertical leap will make him a good red-zone target.

Time for the New York Jets to disappoint their fans. Aaa-gain.

With the 18th pick the Jets select Marqise Lee

With the 20th pick in the 2014 NFL draft, the Arizona Cardinals
select Eric Ebron, Tight End, University of North Carolina.

At 6'4 and 245 lbs, Eric displays great footwork in his route running and is adept at creating space from his assigned defender. Very good after the catch. Often had Tight End screens called for him. Was often split from the formation. Is a good blocker when he feels like it which he'll need to work on. Is a hands catcher, which enables him to be effective in traffic. Lacks concentration at times which causes him to drop routine passes. Is the single season and career leader in school history for catches and yards by a tight end.
Here he is against a top 10 pass defense.

P.S.

Was going to go Qb to start grooming as Carson's replacement.

Or maybe Cb to pair with my homie from around the way.(Peterson)

Or maybe a LT.

Decided against it because the QBs left aren't 1st rounders, the corners I like can be had later, there's not much difference between a good LT and a great one.
