Some of us are asking questions about what's up with this guy or that guy.

I found this report an want to pass it along to all.

"... nine players who were invited but decided not to play even though they are not injured, Savage said, are Michigan State cornerback Darqueze Dennard, Oklahoma State cornerback Justin Gilbert, Ohio State running back Carlos Hyde, Florida State cornerback Lamarcus Joyner, Buffalo linebacker Khalil Mack, Texas A&M offensive tackle Jake Matthews and Stanford inside linebacker Shayne Skov. ..."

Good info. Some just go for the exposure I guess.

A couple of ways to look at it. Some decline due to fear of injury. Others may decline for undisclosed injury. Still others decline relating to they have no need to state their case and don't want to hog a spot from somebody that might greatly benefit from the exposure.

What do we need to see from Jake Matthews? We already know he's the top college football player in America. Give some other guys a chance to shine.
It is disappointing to see Carlos Hyde backed out. A while back somebody on NFL.com wrote he is better  than Eddie Lacey and a first round pick, so I guess he wanted to preserve that.

He probably doesn't want to answer questions about his three-game suspension for the alleged nightclub incident involving a female this past year.

Looking around no RB has a first round grade this year. It might change though.
