Clowney said he was gonna put up "amazing" numbers at the combine

I would be shocked if he doesn't.

He's going to dominate the drills.

I think his point is clear. Trust the tape. Not the combine. 

If his tangibles are anything short of freakishly elite, his status will plummet as he apparently doesn't have the intangibles.

Hmmm his play on the field got scouts raving as a top pick and once he tears up the combine people will fall back in love. I would be very happy if he is taken at 3.

Why should he need the combine results to accomplish that? If he's that good the tape should suffice.

Doesn't matter what he does as long as there's a QB worth taking #1 and a team that needs a QB with the #1 pick.

 

After watching highlights of Clowney I realized how underrated his field smarts are and how selfless he is on the field, and pray Houston picks Bridgewater or even better, Bortles.

 

Watching him trap ball carriers by using positioning instead of jetting in and missing a tackle or dragging the ball carrier down from behind was a lot of fun, and something the Jags need on defense.

 

Also, what better way to stop "The Best QB Prospect since Peyton Manning" than "The Best Prospect Since Andrew Luck, Period."?

This isn't really shocking news. He will tear the combine up.

 

I'm just praying that O'Brien and Fisher pass on him.

I hope enough teams pass on him so we can snag him. It would be my first new Jags jersey since they switched the look. Ive been rocking some really old Taylor and Smith jerseys for a long time.

i would love it if Clowney fell to us, just dont see it happening
