This thread makes no sense, Jags are 2-11 not 11-2. OFC there will be empty seats and large amounts of visiting fans. I would visit Jacksonville too, there's a 98% chance of the other team winning these days in our stadium. This will not change until we improve, so stop starting these dumb threads!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not to mention you can buy a ticket basically on the bench with the players for about $8. It's like a free home game win for opposing fans.

Hell, you could probably get it for free, just look at the jaguars reddit for free tickets every weekend.

LOL a solid 800k+ in Jax, yet only 30k attend games. The rest are NFL fans and the opposing teams fans. I'm sorry all of you think the majority cares about this team, but sadly they don't. It's been a fact for a long time, and that's why we get so much hate for even having a team.

The fans deserve all the blame they get. The home field advantage some other teams have is on the decibel meter, not the weather forecast.

Absolutely agree. You can't blame people for not wanting to spend their hard earned cash on going to games when the team is performing so badly. I don't know any set of fans who would do that. In the NFL or any other team sport.

Where did he mention the weather? The team has sucked for a really long time. I can't blame fans in not wanting to spend the money and waste the time.

Great kudos to the fans that still do.

Do you expect fans of the home team to be loud when the team is 2-10 and hasn't had a winning season since 2007?

My point is when fans don't show up, we don't have the so-called home field advantage other teams take for granted. So fans within driving distance get a share of the blame for losing games when they watch them on TV.
It's not easy to bring yourself to part with a lot of money when you get nothing in return though.

Sure, you're seeing your team play live, but if they just disappoint you, it's not much fun. The fans cannot be blamed for what happens on the field, 'home field advantage' or not.

The Jags just need to up & move to Anchorage.  We'd be happy to have them.  The state could finally stop rooting for Seattle, which would be a major plus.

With only 300k population here, it would be a tall order to fill the stadium each week.  We'd try, though.  Yeah, we'd need to build a stadium and it would need to be a dome unless you like Ice Bowl repeats every home game.

No state tax and no sales tax here, either.  Annual Permanent Fund dividends for each resident.  Legalized weed.  Free subsistence fishing/hunting during the offseason, and an unlimited supply of snow cones to boot.  Beautiful mountain & inlet scenery.  Golf courses for the Spring & Summer.  Bowling centers for the Fall & Winter.

I'll have to email Khan and see what he thinks about this idea.
Quote:Vikings suck too. Surprised they have so many travelers. Then again, their city sucks too, so I don't blame them for escaping the weather.

Why wouldn't they want to get out of Minnesota in the winter and come to nice Florida to watch their team play a guaranteed win game against the Jags, especially since I'm sure they got the tickets for real cheap?
Probably a lot of season ticket holders selling off their tickets this year to any takers. That would maybe explain some of the influx in Vikings and Broncos fans the past two weeks. It's been pretty sickening but that's what happens when you've only won 14 games in nearly 4 years and you haven't won a home game in over 365 days and counting. The only thing this fan base has to look forward to excitement was is another "hopeful" and "promising" off-season under a new coaching staff and/or front office.

Because they don't have to sit outside at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Wasting another beautiful Sunday afternoon watching our jags LOSE AGAIN.

middle fourth quarter...live broadcast...

I could clearly hear the Vikings fans chanting

" Let's go Vikings let's go".

Looked like a decent crowd was there

Obviously our fans left kinda early?

Was anyone at the game that's reading this?

If so....

What's ever bank feel like?

Looked like a home game for the Vikings in the fourth quarter on TV.
It's always a home game for the opposing team here.

The group sitting next to me purchased the tickets when they were 5-0.

Your blind support and defense or this team even through the worst of times is commendable. Hilarious, but commendable.
Dallas is a legacy franchise and they get a huge influx of visiting team fans here.  Up till this year, there was big grips about the new stadium being too visitor friendly.  Dallas is a massive headquaters destination for major corporations out of California.  You don't think you get other teams fans living in the area?

Seriously with fantasy football and redzone and all of the changes in the game, die hard fans outside the legacy franchises are rare.  Does anyone think LA is going to show up for the RAMS with the way they played yesterday?  Irony is when you read LA Rams articles they excuse the fans and are already create excuses for them to not go.  I.e the owner/head coach are letting them down and they shouldn't have to put up with it.

Well, you live closer to the stadium than I do.   I'm there every week.  You???     Enjoy your share of the blame.

Read my location: 90 minutes south of Jacksonville.

You know what that means?

It means I am physically unable to get to any games because of the distance between me and EverBank Field.

You ever heard of a bus?
