I really don't care what pick we get. Who ever they draft is going to be average at best.

Khan could make that all go away. All he'd need to do is fire Gus right now. Actually give the fans a reason to show up, because right now they just don't have one.

I was trying to get my cable back up and missed most of the game.

wasn't worried about a win....the part I did see told me all I needed to know.

49ers are leading the Jets by 14 right now, so if the 49ers win we have a shot at the 2nd pick instead of the 3rd.  Of course, I expect the Jags to win one meaningless game to push them down to 5 or so.  

 

We can't catch a break for trying.  

 

Or we'll draft the next Luke Joeckel with the 2nd pick.  Or the next Dante Fowler.  Take your pick.

I think with the rest of the division actually pushing for the playoffs we have a legit chance at not winning another game.  Usually, I would agree with you because smarter teams with nothing to gain shut it down and give us a couple meaningless wins late in the season.

Appears to be strength of schedule, and yes, as of now the 49ers have a slight advantage but that could change in the last 3 weeks of the season.  

 

So the Browns could take Garrett and the 49ers take a QB, leaving the Jags with fewer options for trading back.

As navyjagfan said, it's strength of schedule. We currently sit at .545 and they're at .517, but it close enough that it could change over the final three weeks.

We are so behind everybody else in our own division (which is the worst in the league, by the way) that it's just pathetic. I don't think there is really much reason to be concerned about not finishing 2-14; the only way it wouldn't happen is if one of our opponents in our three remaining games tanked hard just to preventing us from getting a higher draft pick.

 

Wins for us at this point don't help us... it only hurts us into delusional thinking that we're 'not so bad after all' and lowers our draft pick; not that our GM has helped us much with the higher draft picks he has had.

 

On the bright side; the viking fans sure seemed to be enjoying the pool at the stadium! I haven't seen that much blubber in the water since the last time I was at sea world.

I was following the game on my phone because I had to attend 2 children's birthday parties.

 

My thoughts in order:

 

1. I feel bad for the guy playing the Vikings kicker in FF playoffs this week.

2. I don't care how close the game is. We will lose.

Haven't seen it mentioned yet....When the broadcast opened yesterday ....the camer was on a shot of one of the pools.

there was a couple guys with pot bellies and a woman with a two piece on (and a horned helmet! Trust me she didn't need to have a two piece on!

Those whales are so big, I'm surprised the pool didn't jump out when they jumped in.


Wouldn't be surprised at all to learn they were from Jacksonville.
