Looking at getting a tablet for my wife for her birthday. Looking to be in the $350 range max. She likes the Galaxy 10.1 but hasnt looked at anything else. Anyone have any experiences or recommendations?

That's my $.02 on the subject.
Quote:And this is your iPost.
Quote:Remember when tablets were bound sheets of lined paper? In grade school I used Big Chief Writing Tablets. Anyone else use those?or.....
Sorry, csharp, for the slight detour.

Seriously though - my buddy has the Nexus 7 and likes it a lot for the price.

It was the cutest thing ever!!!!
Quote:Aww. I bet he got a lot of candy.

Quote:For your price range, Google Nexus 7 and the 7 inch Kindle Fire HDX are solid choices. It really depends on the size of the tablet you want. Samsung Galaxy Tabs are a bit lower end devices (Notes are the higher end) but fine for most menial tasks. What's the difference in the Samsungs? I bought the Galaxy Note 8.0, but didn't even know there were different grades, or lower quality ones.
I have the Microsoft Surface Pro and finally found the one tablet I want. Its definitely pricey though.
