Quote:Why is the ref allowed to stand over the ball while the play clock is running?

Don't they always do that unless the game clock is stopped?
Quote:Dierdorf is an idiot. How can't he see that was a great play by the punter?

By not knowing what the punter did.

Idk. NE was trying to quick snap it and the ref would not let them snap it

If the umpire is not in position behind the offense yet, the play can't start. Peyton Manning complained to the NFL about moving him after twice being penalized for attempting a quick snap to prevent a coach from challenging a play. That could have been what happened.
Another INT for Luck, its not his lucky day.

That was what we thought last weekend before the Chiefs collapsed. You never know.

GO COLTS!

Think Luck rubs his own head for good luck? Wink

They need to hold the pats here!! Don't let them score before the half!!
2 picks for the great one so far.

Luck really is an average NFL starter.  The ball was out of place on the TD pass as well.  If the DB doesn't fall down and the WR doesn't make a good play, that's another INT/incompletion.

It's not to say he won't be great one day because he has all the tools, but he's not what everyone expected him to be at this point in time.  Too careless with the football for my liking.

Choking in the playoffs...he IS Manning!!!
LOL. Gostowski > Anger.

I will be back after the game. Let's hope I don't have to hear more stupid comments from Dan Dierdorf.

I thought he was the kicker, not the punter.

Don't hold your breath waiting for that to happen!
5 picks! Now let's see if they decide to cover Hilton this week

The punter got hurt - so Gostowski had to punt. He kicked a 53 yarder!   (w/ great hang time)

Wonder if dierdorf gets it yet? Hopefully someone explains to him at the half

Ha. No one's wondering why he's retiring, I suppose.

While he has baffled me with some of his "analysis" over the years - I've enjoyed plenty of games that he called.
Hilton making Luck look good again....

Last two plays are an example of why Luck is/will become elite.
