Teddy had way more control at the LOS I just think his learning curve is going to be a lot smaller. I would think he would have a very positive immediate impact on our team!
Quote:Geno played in Dana Holgorson's offense.  It's an air raid offense with a ton of 0 routes and drags to Tavon Austin.  His numbers wouldn't have been as good in a pro style offense like Louisville's.

This.  There is no comparison to the offense Geno played in to Louisville's.  Louisville was a more pro style offense that ran actual routes down the field.

The WVU offense was a bunch of short throws.  I could have passed for 65% in that offense.  I'm not saying Geno wont make it eventually, but this comparison sucks.

He'll make an impact for sure. Then what?

Perhaps there's no comparison in style, but perhaps there is similarity in the lack of NFL translation of players in both offenses.

I don't claim to have the playbook, but it seemed to me Watson's offense schemed his guys open, allowing wide open receivers in single coverage or sitting in holes in zone.  I find it suspicious that Watson hasn't placed an NFL QB, and that non-NFL caliber college QB Joe Ganz put up nearly identical college numbers in the very same system.  3800+ total yards and nearly 30 TDs at a nearly 70% completion rate.
Still beating that Joe Ganz drum I see.
