Per NFL.com and Sports Illustrated, Hundley will go back to school for redshirt Junior season.  Good for him.  Smart decision.

Very smart decision.

This all but guarantees Bortles comes out.
I watched him a few times this year and thought WOW, that guy is really good.  Other times I thought WOW that guy stinks.  This was over the course of only 2 games (Nebraska game and his bowl game). Probably a good decision by him!

Thank goodness!  I didn't even want the Jags to have the chance to consider him...He definitely needs another year.

Good for him. Good for us. Now we have no chance of drafting that bum.
Yes, smart. He REALLY wanted to come out this year. Was talked out of it.
Loads of potential but inconsistent.  Some guys have all the god given talent but cant put it together consistently or effectively.

Next year's QB class could shape up to be really good if he and Mariota actually use the extra time to improve their pocket passing ability.
Good idea for him and he'll help himself by staying in school.  He needs polished in a lot of areas but he has a high ceiling.

He'll be the number one pick next year.

If so the regime that does that will be fired within 3 years of that move.

Over Winston if he declares?  No chance.
Think it's dumb. They system he runs won't help him grow. It's an offense built around swing passes. He already has a buzz around him from the talking heads. I get that just playing more will help him but I'm just not a fan of that system.
Much like Mariotta, I'm not sure another year in his system will help him develop as a pro prospect. It was still probably the best choice though.
Regardless of whatever system he runs, another year with Mora, a former NFL head coach, will only help him.  All type of offensive systems require sound footwork, mechanics and good decision makings; all three aspects in which Hundley need to improve.
