Quote:Very good pass rushers get no statted, it happens. Eugene Monroe no statted Dwight Freeney and Julius Peppers in the same season. Aldon Smith get no statted frequently too, especially the second half of last year when Justin Smith missed games.
Also, Cameron Erving is a really, really good OT. He will be a first rounder.
I understand and agree with that, but how many of those guys get "no statted" while in college? To tell the truth, I don't really know.
And yes, Erving is a quality Tackle, like all of the NFL Tackles that Beasley will have to face.

I don't have any facts or anything, but in general the guys like Beasley who will be the main LEO candidates are that way because they are built to be missiles to the QB and are typically not so well rounded against the run. If they don't get home to the QB I imagine it wouldn't be that uncommon to be no statted, even in college.
Quote:Ealy had a good game last night and will probably get picked before Sam. Not sure he falls to the 2nd but would be a nice pickup.
Oh yeah, Ealy has separated himself from Sam big time. I seriously wouldn't be surprised if Ealy goes in the top 10...whereas Sam is still solid but more like a late 2nd/3rd rounder.

Ealy is a stud.
Been hearing some rumblings about a D-III kid out of Nebraska-Kearney named Elhadji Ndiaye. Heard comparisons to Ziggy Ansah(whom he is friends with and trains with), but this kid is a bit smaller and quicker with upside through the roof. Heard he's going to be in the NFLPA All-Star Game, so it'll be nice to see him up against some better competition. Got potential as a developmental LEO prospect from little amount of video I've seen of him.

Nice, thanks. I will try to look him up.

Similar to Ziggy because of his name and that he is new to football? Id look him up now but im in the car eith no paper and pen. No way I can spell that name out on Google
Thanks man. Appreciate that. Making this 6hr drive much better.
Great read. Like that he played basketball and soccer. Soccer is maybe the most demanding stamina wise. Hopefully he is someone on our radar. Love for him to work with Gus
Not a problem. Have to give the credit to NDD and being bored while surfing Twitter, lol.
Thanks. From the video he looked like someone worth stashing. He had a surprising array of pass rush moves for as little experience as he has. He needs to be a little more physical though and get away from the arm tackling.
Quote:I like Jeffcoat a fair amount. I also have Sam, Ford, Breslin, Van Noy, Martin, Reilly, and Marsh as potential day 2 pass rusher picks on my sheet. They all got consideration but didn't quite make my top 10, and I wouldn't highly debate anyone who had any of them in their top 10.
I especially wouldn't debate anyone who had Ford in their top 10 now. Just one game obviously, but he repeatedly abused a very good possible 1st round LT in Cameron Erving.
