People, most definitely CAN get addicted to almost anything in some way, shape, or form....particularly mentally. I have a good friend, who by the way is 63, that goes through more weed than I thought was humanly possible. He even jokes about his THC-meter bumping bottom after a couple of HOURS. So please don't try to come off as some sort of authority on this. It's quite possible, and this is coming from someone that has burned more than a couple over his lifetime.
There were a couple of people on here who asserted that alcoholics weren't addicted to alcohol. I think it's a new belief trend right now.
