Quote:One thing I notice though is in most stadiums, there is limited end zone seating. In Pittsburgh, there are barely any seats at all in the end zone.

funny thing is they are actually adding 3,000 seats to that area.  i think it's a bad move.

Quote:I don't think it's a "swimming pool" as most think, but more so just a water feature like a fountain or something similar. Don't think a pool would go down well.

don't tell me that.  i already lost 3 pounds on my diet in anticipation of swimming there.   i hope i don't have to go back to peeing in the restrooms.
Quote:Think he'll need a funnel for that??

I imagine you have one he can borrow...

As for the stadium upgrades, think that Khan will throw a little help to the Gator Bowl Association to attract some better games to the city? This great big playground isn't going to do anyone any good if it's empty most of the time.
It was my understanding that the construction was supposed to be completed by the Country Music Superfest scheduled for June 14 & 15.

It'll be a quick turnaround but the Jaguars (probably Lamping) are in charge. So I am sure it will get done.
Prolly after their annual Monster Truck Rally.. My best guess.. They're doing that again this year right?

I almost spit out my coffee. Funny dude.
Quote:Taking away the cheap seats, so fans have to buy the more expensive seats. I.e. Less 45 dollar seats. Just saying.
Those seats were not purchased anyway. Who would be buying the "more expensive seats" when they weren't buying the tarped ones?

The tarped seats are the cheapest seats anyway.

I still don't think they are swimming pools.  They are more of a water feature from what I was told.

I think Action News is just misinformed.

Quote:A new platform area in the north end zone with unique food and beverage offerings, interactive activities and North Florida-themed imagery and water features will give the stadium a look and feel that is distinctly Jacksonville.

I was told by a stadium official just last night that they will indeed be swimming pools and cabanas. People will be able to rent them for group events. One side of the swimming pool will be glassed in so people under water will be visible.

How many tequila shots will it take before a bikini top "accidentally" comes off diving in?

I think I heard an ad today saying February 22nd will be the monster truck jam.

As long as it's not Saggy Susie.  Only Pert Prescillas should be allowed to enter.
I wonder what is to become of the seats being removed?  I would love to have a seat from Everbank Field-JMS-Alltel Stadium.

They will probably be sold to a broker and then sold to fans at an insane markeup.

I too have no desire to see the North Florida Seals floating around the pools in swimsuits two sizes too small.

I had not thought of that but good question.
