Quote:WHen I was younger, I had at minimum 17 games a year on my PS1.
Now, I only play Madden, NBA 2K3, and NFS Rivals on a regular basis on my PS4.
This^
I'll have to admit if I didn't have 4 kids under the age of 6, a business I'm running (hopefully buying), a homestead crop garden and livestock to tend, and taking full time online college classes, I MIGHT be interested or at least have the down time to find for video games.
Quote:I actually dated a gamer chick once.. Not as cool as you think it may be.. Got tired of hearing "STOP!!!.. AFTER THIS LEVEL"
That wasn't because of the game... :whistling:
I haven't played a game in about 8 years, ever since we found out our first kid was on the way.
I pretty much only played NCAA online. Just don't have the time for them anymore.
I play only during certain times of the year. I never play when the wife is home. I have a ton of off time this time of year. About four months worth give or take. So yeah I'll play when I got nothing else to do and am home alone.
PC games and teamspeak/vent solves the "trash talking" problem. I'm married with two kids...I usually only play once or twice a week after the kids are in bed. I hope I never stop playing games.

I'm happy to be the outlier here.

What is this sex, of which you speak?

So...what video games do you play? :whistling:
I find time for gaming. But I only play sparingly due to my job. I put in easily 50+ hours a week at work, plus doing spot work/reports/calls from home on the weekends and weeknights. I don't live alone either. I have my fiance with me. But it's not overly difficult to find time personally. I might get in a good 4 - 6 hours a week. With most of that being on the weekends if I am lucky enough. They're not as exciting as they were when I was younger though. But I can't put down Skyrim or Madden. That's typically all I play. And getting a PS4 or Xbox One is not even anywhere near my must haves right now. I could care less. I am pretty content with playing my old stuff that I grew up on. Old Final Fantasy, Sega Dreamcast stuff, really any RPG is what I can and tend to get into.
Gaming is fun. Online trash talking and trolling is much more fun. Hey folks I'm the guy who drives you psycho by talking smack and trolling online gaming.
for me it's an opportunity to throw you off your gaming skillz. You get mad and all you want to do is find me and kill me, but you're too bad at it so you only continue to get killed over and over again in the numerous ways I devise it to happen.
I play for fun and to get someone else to be an emotional wreck.
I didn't think anyone would actually admit to it.
The only time I get mad when playing video games is when I'm playing against my brothers. It has less to do with the game and more to do with the fact that we're all competitive and the whole sibling rivalry thing though.
My father still plays video games (mostly Planetside 2 and Battlefield series) and he is 60.
I am a father myself and still play video games, and probably will the rest of my life. I did however grow out of playing FPS and App-like games. I mostly play Grand Strategy, but i'll play an MMORPG if it has enough depth ala SWG or Ultima Online. Unfortunately MMORPGs aren't exactly made with much depth these days. I do play Wii U games with the kids though.
Pfft. My wife and i still play video games. Especially with our daughters. It's a nice hobby. Trash Talkers have ruined online gaming, so we don't do that much. Most trash talkers are 14 year olds who are playing games their parents are too naive to realize they shouldn't be playing.

That's awesome Eric.
