Not anywhere near the big WR threat we need, but I'd take a shot at Jeremy Gallon in the late rounds. Guy reminds me of Steve Smith so much.

Please, God, no....

We already have enough midget WR on this team.

No more WR under 6' 0" and 200. Thank you.

If anything this team needs at least one legit big target from the WR position.

Quote:I like Josh Huff, he is very nifty.

He would be a good choice as well, but I think he staying with the NCAA giving him a 6th year eligibility.

The tennis court across from bluefront is nice.
Oh true, I didn't even think about Huff. He's been pretty solid for Oregon.
Quote:I really like Jared Abbrederis and the value he could be had at.

Yes.

Insane route running and great hands.

Insane? Like he does somersaults and triple pirouettes and stuff?

This seems like the time for a gif but I don't know how to post one.

I was joking with you, but I do like Abbredeiris (sp?). Is it too obvious and lazy to state that his play is reminiscent of Jordy Nelson?

You don't like Odell Beckham?   5-11, 193.
davante adams is being projected in some Mocks atm from the late first to the end of the second. If he falls to the third I don't think we would pass over him considering all he's been doing to getting the jump balls for Carr.

Donte Moncrief fits the bill as a possible 4th rounder...he did have the dropsies this year though.

When it was looking like we were going to get a 8-12 pick, I was thinking we might try to draft Watson. Ex track star.....he is fast and athletic with a danger to break tackles and go the distance. Now, at #3, it's not likely.....unless we trade back. Just don't see that.
Earliest we take a WR is the 4th round. Too many other bigger needs on the team. JB will be back and WR will be considered a strength.

That's a lot of faith to pin on one unreliable player. Caldwell cant even give a progress report on Blackmon due to having restricted access to him.

This sig bring back so many memories.

Know I know why I like Huff even more, Oregon helped FSU get the #1 ranking.

Some more potential mid-late round WRs:

Shaq Evans UCLA 6'1 204 - I'm surprised he's not projected higher. Evans reminds me a bit of Blackmon in the sense that he can make the first tackler miss and turn a short catch into a big play. Good at adjusting to errant passes.

Quincy Enunwa Nebraska 6'2 225 - Solid blend of height/weight/speed (projected low 4.5 range 40) pretty good hands and body control. Pretty good at running double move routes and getting his man to bite on the fake. Physical guy, loves to hit.

Kevin Norwood Bama 6'2 195 - Not particularly big or fast but pretty good all around skillset wise, more often than not manages to come down contested catches when needed even in double coverage.

Jeff Janis Saginaw Valley 6'3 218 - plays D-II and dominated for 3 years got an invite to the Senior Bowl and has the chance to prove himself in Mobile.

Quote:I think Cody Hoffman will be a steal for someone. Listed at 6'4 210 drop off in production this year he hasn't regressed but his new QB looks to run quite often. Hoffman can catch in traffic, gain separation and pretty good at getting YAC doesn't have great deep speed but is a great all around WR

I think he'll be available in the 4th

He would be a steal in the fourth round. I watch a lot of BYU games, he is a great player. He was banged up this year and Hill has serious problems with accuracy which hurt Hoffman last two years.

Sammy Watkins number three

Quote:Sammy Watkins number three

Or at 4 or 5
Watkins after tonight made me feel okay with him in the top three if Teddy and Clowney are gone. I even stated a few weeks ago that we didn't need a receiver until late. Donte Moncrief is the only other receiver id want besides him. He won't make it to the 4th. He will be taken in the 2nd
