DE is 2nd most premium position IMO, rather take JD than reach for a QB.

Thats the thing he wont get that kinda attention in the NFL right away until he is dominate, which is good for clowney and if he is dominate is good for what ever team he is on. 

 

The only NFL defensive play that I seen teams build their whole game plan around was Lawrence Taylor. 

 

And as I write that, Clowney just beat a double team and put pressure on the QB and forced a throw away

Yup both those plays Clowney got pressure, the guy is the most talented player in the draft, I dont care what JW says he has a low bust factor.

Not really any guarantees in the draft, so there is no guarantee he will be "dominant", but baring serious injury, it is pretty much a guarantee that he will be "way above average"

Don't you go ruining that post! I couldn't care less if he is a dominant player; I want him to be called a dominate player who can dominant games. I mean, dominant all over those dominate games.

You could very well be right. Mort was saying yesterday that he doesn't think Teddy nor Johnny fit Bill O'Briens typical QB mold. He likes a tall and physical ability. Hopefully Mort is correct

Abbrederis has been pretty quiet.....only 1 catch for 11 yards......Wisconsin is pretty much a run right at you team with the mix of passes to keep you honest.....their stout offensive line allows them to do that.....tough assignment for Clowney....2nd half begins

That offensive line is opening up huge holes.....no penalties....they are good....have to stop the run so you can pin the ears back on 3rd down

They know the run is coming on first down and still can't stop them....a dominating performance by the OL

Also Houston drafted Mario Williams over Reggie Bush, Vince Young and Matt Leinart, and it was the right move for them maybe Bud Adams does it again and it bites them in the behind

Rooting for Clowney to have a big game because it'll help give more value to our pick, but thus far he's not cooperating.
