Has everyone calmed down yet?
Quote:Fantasy land.

The left has always been insane.

Now, they're taking it to the next level... and they're burning the country to the ground with them.

All while pointing the finger at the other guy.

Mental.  Illness.

Good luck, Chicken Littles, getting anyone but your own kind ever taking you seriously.  Ever.

The children of the left are flash mob-ing this country into the ground.  If you lose, resist and deny.  Disrupt.  Destroy.

It's all you have.  You certainly don't have history or facts (reality) on your side.

Don't have facts or history on your side? Like Andrew Jackson and civil war history? Greatest margin of victory? Largest crowds? BO spied? America first? No foreign conflict involvement?

Facts like where our armada is heading. Facts like what our nuclear triad is? Damn...I could go on forever with fake facts that's been thrown around. One fact remains...the sheep have the wool pulled over their own eyes.

Comey goes and asks for more resources to expand investigation on Monday. Later Monday he's fired. Is that just coincidental timing?

Your selective memory forgets how highly DJT spoke of him when it was the other way around.

Your above rabble is bordering on Dakotaism. It's akin to the beaten wife that keeps excusing her abuser.
I have to give it to you nutcases on the left, your dedication to your cult is on par with Jonestown.

It's all just part of the "vast right-wing conspiracy" I suppose...

Apparently not.
All has calmed down.

Well...except for a senate intel hearing over the apprentice reenactment.

Great first 100.

Ok...they interfered. Like the US never has?

As long as there was no collusion....move on.

I'm chill, HB. Back on the couch, purple haze putting a dewy glow on the entire spectacle, trying out this trick of not believing my own eyes and ears.
It is absolutely astounding, the ability some of you have to completely ignore the many many many beautiful and powerful lies by dur fuhrer and in the same conversation call other people liars. The left is not living in reality and are insane? I think it's clear at this point that you rubes are either breathtakingly stupid or are just willing to let the fuhrer go potty in your mouth if it just means a liberal has to smell your breath.

Quote:firing comey doesn't make it all go away . the new guy takes over and picks up where the old guy left off. sheesh.............
....and the new guy has the power to stop the investigation.  He's the head of the FBI.  All he has to do is say, "Stop, we've investigated enough, there's nothing to see here."  And the president gets to choose the new guy, after a nice lengthy chat.

This is EXACTLY what Donald wants, and is trying hard to get.

This isn't about Huma, or Hillary, or Weiner, or Comey, or Left-wing hypocrisy, or Deputy AG epiphanies.

This is about Donald and the Russians.
Quote:President Trump, meet Archibald Cox.

God I hope our country has the guts to do what is right.

We proved once before we could, for the love of a nation.

I hope my fear that supporters of this fool won't put their need to support "their team" instead of the individuals they represent and the Nation as a whole is very wrong.

A good part of me still believes we are better than this amateur crud show we've all allowed.  I feel guilty and shame for not doing more to prevent it.

Some of you people have been watching too much CNN.

By the way, if some of you bother to pull your heads out of your butts, you will know that Trump supports an ongoing investigation into Russia.

The problem is, our liberal duncecaps believe it's Trump is who is being investigated.

Fact is, Trump is not under investigation.

I know that Donald Trump lies.  The only investigation into the Russian hack of the 2016 election Donald supports is the one that ends in an FBI director saying, "There is no Russian hack of the 2016 election."  As an added bonus, said FBI director will then start going after Donald's enemy list.

You don't have to watch CNN to realize Donald's changed stories on this firing 3 times in the past 48 hours, either.

I'm not the one with my head in a butt - neither my own, nor Donald's.
We talking about the same idiot that went in front of the nation and said that if anyone  else had committed the criminal acts that shrillary did they would be indicted/charged and then turned around two seconds later and refused to indict that treasonous skank? He deserved firing on that idiotic stance alone. The man is a complete moron and incompetent.

What exactly does the alleged "Russian hack of the 2016 election" consist of? Everyone, including Obama, agrees that the Russians didn't compromise the vote counting machines.

Russian investigation? Pffft. He had a couple good ol Russkies in the oval, office, yuking it up. And...a Russian photographer who also works for Tass...their main newspaper. Yes ...in the Oval Office. Photo ops. Hey guys...any tips on wall building?

They're tight. All good. Da da da.

I do however remember, Madeline Albright ( sp ) had a bug planted in her office after a visit from a couple of comrades.

But that was long ago. They're our friends now. It's proof....hey Vlad...get outta town for a hour or so...I'm sending 59 missles to an empty air field. It's just a message to appease the whiners over here. I'll send some chocolate cake.

By the way, are your soldiers juicing it up like all of your athletes? Hey..it ain't cheating if its war...amirite, amirite?

RUSSIA!

That's become the big scare tactic drummed up by the left and splashed across MSM.

First the Russians hacked the election.

Then it was the Russians hacked the democrats to give the election win to Trump.

Then it was the Trump campaign was working with the Russians to influence the election.

The list goes on and on...

Liberals including some high profile democrats were all for firing Comey after the election and even after the inauguration.  Now suddenly they are against it because of the made-up "investigation of President Trump".

The bottom line regarding this is either President Trump chose some pretty bad timing to finally fire Comey, or he's pretty cunning and smart.  Keep in mind, there was a recommendation to fire Comey that came from the Justice Department by the Attorney General and Deputy Attorney General who have only been confirmed for a couple of weeks.

Comey, whether intentional or not injected himself into politics which undermines his ability to actually do the job.  It started back before the election when he outlined the results from the Clinton email fiasco.  It's not the job of the FBI to "recommend" or not pursuing charges regarding the outcome of their investigation, especially during a nationally televised press conference.  Their job is only to investigate and turn over the results of said investigation to the Justice Department.  It was after that whole fiasco/media circus that he should have been fired.

Every "statement" and press conference after that was purely political and not objective with regard to his position.
How could this be cunning or smart? At this time? With no replacement? It just seems a shoot from the hip, knee jerk, nothing thought out reaction.

He's still in The Apprentice mode.

After listening to him, Spicer, the dehydrated Kelly Anne CONway, and other spokes people, either some are lying or grossly misinformed...or both.

He's draining the swamp,I guess. Git er done.

...

The reason why I used that phrase is because like him or not, he goes against the grain of the Washington political establishment (republicans and democrats) and the media.  With him it's definitely not "politics as usual".

Is that a good thing or a bad thing?  Well, I guess it's just a matter of perspective.  It certainly has the establishment and the media on their heels.  In my mind, it's not necessarily a bad thing (at this point) because it's not "politics as usual".  Only time will tell if his decisions are good/right/wrong.

Many people (including me) have said that he needs to shut his mouth and stay off of twitter, but if you think about it, that's just what he wants.  His actions and ways are unconventional which again, makes him unpredictable.

As it all relates to this thread, regardless of the reason(s) that come from the media or the White House, the fact of the matter is that the firing should have been done a long time ago.

Even if this tripe were all true, exactly how could any of this affect the 2016 election?

By whom, Obama? Do you really think he could have fired Comey without Republicans crying foul?
