I think Jags fans should be a bit less cocky on this one.

Whose to say the same thing won't happen to us, should we ever make the playoffs again.

As another poster cited, it wasn't just the Colts that struggled to sell tickets for the WC games, it was almost every game.

Really? I didn't hear anything about Philly having issues. They have what you call "hardcore" fans.

Green Bay does too. They struggled to sell tix, as did Cincinnati.

Why are you making excuses for other franchises, especially divisional opponents.

I don't get you.

How is it making excuses? Only Philly didn't have trouble meeting blackout totals this weekend. Thats 3 out of 4 games. :ermm:

1.  There are Chiefs fans in every game?  LOL, man your fan-base is worse off than I thought!  bwahahahah

2.  Sorry brutha, but the stadium sounded pretty weak on TV, and I have a pretty good sound system.  The entire game it sounded like the c'lot fans had a frog in their throat.  On the contrary, anytime a good play was made my the Chiefs it sounded MUCH louder.  I'm serious, even my mother-in-law was asking where the game was being played...  LOL...  Like I said, neutral field.

But whatever, you guys won.  So enjoy.  I'm not impressed.

I don't care how it sounded on TV. Ask ANYONE who was actually AT THE GAME. The place was electric.

He's speaking the truth.

It's what most divisonal opponent's fans fail to do.

I asked the chiefs fans...  They agreed with me!!!  I saw alot of red there too!!  So it wasn't just my ears...

Dude, give it up, kitty cat.  You're smack is as soft as the fur on your avatar.  Plus you're writing in a Jaguars MB.  Don't expect me to respect anything about you or your lousy team.

I'd expect the same treatment reversed if I was trolling the c'lot MB.

It was just your ears and you've talked to Chiefs fans at the game?

They're either A) lying OR B) drunk.

Probably both. Stadium was rocking and you're jealous Jacksonville will never feel the same. Sorry.

Never?  C'mon man.

Until I see it happen, never is the word.

Didn't want to go there, as I usually don't, but this guy is delusional.

Well, then, congratulations for being as wrong as he is, I guess.

Actually, during our first few years of existence, we were rocking the joint.  (sigh) Then...
Did the game end up a sell out? I haven't heard one way or the other.

Yes. All 4 wild card games were sold out.

I agree, the Jags had some issue with their first home playoff game vs the Pats in 1998.

I think we need to build up some consistency selling games out (without tarps) before we begin talking smack.

All four games did not sell out. All four games were televised, but they didn't sell out.

Having the thousands of unsold tickets "bought" by a white knight is not selling out, it's being bailed out.

All tickets being bought = sellout.

I don't care who buys them, if they're bought, they're sold out.

Nope. Doesn't count.

Each ticket must be bought by a true fan who will lovingly care for the ticket, preserve it, and take it home and have it framed and mounted right next to the photo of the family dog, Rex.

Alternate dog names that are acceptable include Trixie, Fido, Alleutia, and Steve.
