All of the big college tv stations were going after him. Where he ended up makes sense.
He has an out if a team wants him...so he's not stuck if someone comes calling.
ESPN laughed when his agent ask that they put that out in the contract.
If he bombs out as a commentator they can always make him a cameraman!

Kinda hard to play for a team if no team wants you.. He could always kidnap a player and keep him hog tied in a basement somewhere while posing to be him.. Bout the only way..

Reading some of the comments on the local news stories about this hiring are hilarious. There are actually people that think he chose TV over playing in the NFL. People are crazy.
