Anyone else going to watch this ucla game closely? If he does come out could be a target of the jags I have just seen two games and he's impressive at times and others I'm asking myself what are you doing kid

He's multiple years away from being ready to lead an NFL offense.

Schefter just tweeted that he spoke to two teams who have Hundley as the highest rated QB on their board.


Hopefully the Texans are one of those teams.

Per Adam S, multiple GMs have Hundley as the top QB this yr. Little do they know he is multiple years away from being able to lead an NFL offense according to the above poster.

How do you know it's Rick Smith who believes that and not Mickey Loomis or John Elway?

Lol I saw that tweet he also tweeted the texans will be out watching hundley,Carr and Blake hopefully the two who haven't played yet tear it up

I don't, but the one thing I do know is that all 32 GMs know more about football and recruiting than you do.

This is true. A lot of them also make horrible football decisions all the time that armchair quarterbacks at home could have seen coming. Someone traded up for Blaine Gabbert. Someone took Jamarcus Russell No. 1 overall (on the same day that Mel Kiper, Jr. proclaimed him the next John Elway and a top-five NFL quarterback within three seasons). They all know more football than I do, and you, and every other poster in this thread.

Gene Smith proves otherwise. I think in this day of YouTube, Fantasy Football, and the 24/7 sports cycle people can accumulate more knowledge, and make reasonable predictions than most of the "experts" would like to give them credit for.

Its a crapshoot and at the end of the day fans and organizations have just as good of odds of getting it right - or wrong. The only difference is the organization has a paid staff with a ton more resources.

I still like him. But he needs a lot of work.

Hundley to the Texans actually makes sense. He has enormous potential and upside, just not ready. It is possible that they draft him and sign a veteran. There is talent on that roster
