Full Version: Fantasy Basketball Question Regarding The Injured Kobe and Westbrook

Hey guys and gals!

Quick question here regarding my fantasy basketball team. I have both Kobe and Westbrook in a 12 team league. Westbrook is out until after the All-Star break, I am holding on to him no matter what.

My real question is Kobe. Do I hold on to him, sitting him on the bench taking a roster spot (which means until after the AS break I am down two spots scoring). or do I let him go? I drafted him high, and sat him while he was recovering. He played well when he came back, but is it worth holding on to now?

I am sitting in 2nd now, looks like I will take over 1st after this week. Do I weather the storm with Kobe on the bench hoping he can still produce come February, or cut bait and move on without him?

As long as I make the playoffs, I think I am good, so if I happen to fall a few spots while I have these two hurt I think I am in pretty good shape.

No opinions? I am taking a bit of a hit as expected this week. I am playing minus two guys as of now.

Ride it out, or drop Kobe?

Sorry, that was my fault. I drafted Russell Westbrook too on my team, and we all know how I must always get cursed with injuries to key stars no matter what fantasy sport it is.

I have W'Brook, Anthony Davis, Favors, Henson, and Bledsoe. All missed significant time to injury. The coincidence is uncanny with teams I draft and injury to key contributor correlation. All the time, every time.

You are snake bitten. No one else has to deal with injuries. That really sucks for you.

Everyone deals with injuries to some degree. My degree is just always real bad, either in amount, quality of player, or both.
