Didn't know about this. Doubt the Jags go after anyone left but it's still interesting to see how the NFL works it.

The Jags don't have to worry about compensatory picks in 2018 anyway. If they liked a notable leftover enough to sign them, I think it would have happened by now.
If Ryan Clady can pass a physical they could offer him a one year "prove it" deal.  Left tackle has been a problem for this team for a long time.  Clady's first visit in free agency was to Seattle.  They elected to pass and sign Luke Joeckel.  That pretty much tells the story right there. Last year Clady went on IR in week seven with a torn rotator cuff.  He played with that injury for about four weeks.  Two years ago he tore his ACL and a couple years before that he pulled a Shaun Alexander with a Lisfranc injury to his foot.  Problem is, I don't think he can pass a physical right now with that shoulder.  Maybe around training camp.

if clady did pass stick him at lt albert and right and robinson at guard. and line much improved.  But thats a perfect world and this isnt a perfect world.

If Clady can pass, look for folks to want to try him out at QB.
I can see that: 6'6 guy...big pocket presence.
