It's a risky pick, to be sure. But if Caldwell takes him, I'll be convinced we have a future star on our hands.
I really hate the idea of taking Manzeil with our first pick over Clowney and Mack, and taking Jeremy Hill in the 3rd round would never happen with all the talent still left on the board. The only pick I sort of like would be Kony Ealy for our 2nd pick
Taking him over Clowney is a mistake.

One NFL scout has him compared to Montana..
Gene Smith?

haha is Gene actually a scout again for an NFL team?
I seriously doubt it Bryan stork is in the 5th round we would not take him
I think you shouldn't reach 18 spots to pick someone at #3. Picks like that are the reason a team is picking at #3 to begin with.
Hahaha Dom Easley in the fifth round.

Kadeem Carey, Bryan Stork, Daniel McCullers, Zach Mettenberger, and David Fales all in the 5th?
In DraftTek's 5 round mock, the Jags take:
1. QB Johnny Manziel
2. DE Kony Ealy
3. RB Jeremy Hill
4. CB Chris Davis
4. ROT James Hurst
5. TE Arthur Lynch
5. WR Devin Street
5. DT Calvin Barnett
I would have taken:
1. DE Jadeveon Clowney 65 272 ...could be all-pro with Gus motivation.
2. QB Blake Bortles 63 230 ...will be a solid NFL QB, may not be spectacular.
3. OG Gabe Jackson 63 335 ...fix the interior and run game.
4. OC Russell Bodine 63 310 ...solid replacement for Meester (Stork possible here too).
4. DT Ryan Carrethers 62 328 ...on CBSsports.com Freaks List, tackling machine with size.
5. TE Arthur Lynch 65 258 ...solid all around TE, good value in 5th.
5. WR Devin Street 63 195 ...all-time reception leader at Pitt, good hands and speed.
5. QB Zach Mettenberger 65 230 ...#3-4 QB in draft before ACL injury, great value, competition.

I prefer your mock, though I'd much rather us take a DT with an earlier pick. We need another interior D-lineman badly and there is a huge surplus of talent in this draft.
I seriously doubt we take a CB RB or WR until round six. Too many holes and we have decent depth at each of those positions.
Gave Jackson in the 3rd would be an absolute STEAL. Doubt he is there for us then but I really hope so
Barr at 2?? Manziel at 3? Can this site be any more stupid?

I'm liking your mock a whole lot more than draftteks

I agree with the site being pretty stupid but at this point, Barr going 2nd wouldn't be to absurd.

That draft would be absolutely ridiculous. *drools*
That's the worst looking draft I ever saw. You draft like that, do you get a free bowl of soup?
