Quote:Yeah. Considering Time's far-left bent, they probably view him in the Hitler camp.

What is the connection between being far left and picking Hitler in 1938?
He also shares the distinction with one...

Vladimir Putin.

Vladimir Putin.

Also Winston Churchill.

And Obama x2.

And Dubya.

And Bill Clinton

And Merkel

And Rudy Giuliani

And Stalin

And Newt Gingrich

And Ronnie Raygun

And Richard Nixon x2

And Queen Elizabeth

And Pope Francis!

WHAT COULD THIS MEAN?

Actually we all were named person of the year once too.

Maybe Donald Trump being named PoTY is a nod to you, BB4?

Trump is on the same level as the Jags MB mods? That doesn't bode well.
Wonder who was runner-up to Hitler and if they ever put their 2nd Place finish on their resume.

Yeah, and the planet earth was also once named planet of the year by Time.

But Donald mostly resembles Putin and (1938) Hitler.  He's nowhere near Stalin's strength.

At least Time magazine won't have to endure a bunch of "UNFAIR!" and "SAD!" tweet storms by putting cheeto of the year on their cover.

It very well could be.

Trump should be far below the level of MB mods.
LOL.  I just think that it's funny because it infuriates so many liberals.

You don't think it also upsets many conservatives?

He woulda fired you by now.

And everyone who baits.
Now some people are saying that they purposely likened Trump's picture to Hitler's.

Pretty similar chair and dark room with shadow on the wall. Then they centered his head on the 'M', and now he looks like he has horns.

I'm not sure if it's intentional, but it's hard to believe it wasn't when Time usually makes it a point to make all of these extremely different.

Trump is a chronic complainer who will make up crap to criticize anything. Having a similar picture does not in any way imply he is a similar person.

Time has put the "M" horns on all sorts of portraits.  They want to have a full face on the cover, and they can't put the magazine title across the forehead.

As for the chair and shadow, Donald posed for the portrait, so he can't say he didn't see it coming. The 1938 Hitler cover was a painting, not a photo, and the pose was completely different.  They both have dumb haircuts on their covers, though.

Anyway, this article addresses your concerns.  Apparently, Donald's biggest gripe about the cover was the "Divided States of America" subtitle.  Amazingly, he still can't figure out that a little more than half the country hates him.

Trump isn't the one commenting on the Hilter thing.

You mean didn't vote for him. Not all of those people "hate" him.

Of course, some of the people that voted for him hate him too, so I'm sticking to my guns.  And you're right, he did get less votes than his opponent.

He really did earn "Person of the Year".
