So who then?Cutler?RG3?Which QB is worth the tag?Teddy Bridgewater is going to Houston they making that clear. So who do we want?

Henne did not play well today.  He was inaccurate, curled up in the pocket three times in anticipation of being sacked and threw two picks.  One of those picks sealed the win for the Bills and then claimed in the press conference that Mike Bown was held.

 

This has been the theme all season long.  He is playing a bit better now than the first half of the season but he has better protection now.  Regardless, he hasn't played well all year.

 

I don't think any "what if" scenarios matter because he is a veteran and he isn't the answer.  Frankly, I'd rather he not be on the team in any capacity next season. We can get some scrub off the streets who will play poorly for a lot less money than Henne.

 

It's time for him to go.  Gabbert too. 

 

Caldwell will hopefully draft his guy and a FA can be signed as a backup.  Maybe even Matt Scott will be good enough for a backup role in 2014.

First we have the "Gabbert needs more time" threads in the off season, now we have a thread that i'd never thought someone would create -- a "what if Henne is 6 years younger" thread.

I was really impressed with Henne's throws on the last drive to get us on the door step but then he didn't finish the deal. Kudos though we were playing with practice squad material at WR and a good pass defense. 

If only there was a great American on our team that was more successful than both of our top 2 quarterbacks in college and has more potential. Dang.

In his defense, its not exactly hard to have more potential than Henne/ Gabbert.

Chad has a chance to get 3,000 yards,  He is 327 away from this. 

 

This would be the first time we've had a Quarterback pass for 3,000 since Garrard in 2009. 

 

 

I think Chad needs to go, but I give him credit for this milestone.

If Henne was a first year QB, we may be making the case that he is worth developing as there would be further upside in the future. Unfortunately, we are seeing now exactly what Miami learned in his time there. He can look decent, and then, for no apparent reason, he just blows it. Some of his picks in Miami were just head-scratchers. He is proven inconsistent, with no further upside.

Earlier this year you were saying passing yards are the most overrated stat in all of football. 

 

Now you are saying 3,000 yards isn't an accomplishment.  Make up your mind chachi.
