The reason why I'm posting this thread is because if the Dolphins beat the Pats, than our playoff hopes are crushed. Even if we win out our last three games. I can't believe I'm saying this, but GO PATS!
We also need the Lions to beat Baltimore on MNF.
Our playoff hopes are pretty minuscule after San Diego won Thursday night.
Even if the Patriots win, we also need the Panthers to win this weekend. And then four teams need to lose next week: Jets, Chargers, Dolphins, and Ravens again.
Then in week 17 we need the Chargers, Dolphins and Ravens to lose.
That's asking for a lot to be honest. Even if we get there, we'd only be crushed by the Patriots or Bengals.
But I don't think making the playoffs or not determines if this season was a success in any case.

It's nothing short of shocking that the Jaguars are still in the playoff hunt after an 0-8 start. Other than the Texans, I'm not sure if any other team in the AFC has been eliminated from the playoffs which is even more shocking. Hopefully, the Jaguars will still be in the playoff hunt going into Week # 16. After seeing what happened in 1996, football miracles have happened

To say the least, one thing I didn't think would happen was San Diego winning at Denver. Much like in many other seasons in the last decade, the Chargers are playing their best football of the season in December. In a relatively weak AFC, they could be a dangerous team if they make the playoffs. The game the other night didn't have the feel of a fluke occurrence.
