My wife and I are coming to Jacksonville for our first Jags game. We will be leaving our home in the morning ( Saturday ) for the 500 mile journey. We are thinking about buying Club Season tickets next year. Can somebody give me some good reasons to buy them ? Winning is not everything for us , Just as long as we can have some good times and memories to share with new friends. I would also like some feedback from the diehard Jags fans as to , Are the fans friendly and are there some people who would let us join in on there tailgates , We would happily pitch in and buy what ever was needed for that week. We are in are late 40's so along our age range would be nice.
Thanks Keith and Linda
Very cool. Hope you have a safe trip and a great time at the game. There is a 'tailgate discussion area' on the message board where you
might find some folks of like mind.

Last time I attended a day game - we parked in the lot labeled 'H' on this map.

We hung out and mingled with a few other groups of folks parked in the area.
I'm sure some of the members here that attend more games could tell you which parking areas are best for the tailgating crowd. Hopefully they will.
I've never encountered anything but friendly fans inside and outside of the stadium though you may have to ignore an annoying drunk or two on your way out - but I think that can be said for any stadium.
There's Tailgaters lot, too. A private lot with grass, real bathrooms, a pavilion with food and music and all kinds of shenanigans going on.

Got an email survey from the Jaguars asking a ton of questions about next year and what it would take to "go all in."
After years of buying single game when I could, went for the half pack this year.
You can tell....they're thinkin'....might rope me in yet but the half packs fit me better from a time standpoint.
Started off with half packs, then season tix in the NEZ, bounced around to different sections over the years and finally upgraded to the TD Club last year. While it is nice to have Club access during the early, hot games or if it rains, I prefer sitting in the non club sections and putting that money saved to tailgating. Ditched the club seats this year and went back to tailgating. Not that you couldn't do both tailgate and club seats but really what's the point of having club seats if you don't use it?
We tailgate at Duval and Bryan across the street from tailgaters lot ($10 less per game than tailgaters) and kitty corner from the BCB guys. Nice lot, paved with security and port-a-pots. You're more than welcome to hang out.
