My bad Wink

If this guy is really dumb enough to consider the option of staying in school during a weak QB year in the draft and essentially a guaranteed top 2 pick, we don't need someone with that mental ineptitude on our roster.
Oh come on they still have a bowl game to play. He can't say right now that he's leaving school that would not help preparations for the biggest game of their season. He's saying all the politically correct stuff right now, as he should.

Has nothing to do with mental ineptitude.  He has a Bowl Game to concentrate on.

I would be OK with Andrew Luck on our roster, despite his apparent "mental ineptitude."
WOW..it's serious.  THey are reporting that he is seriously considering staying with Louisville on ESPN.  Still, I'll say 4 to 1 that he'll enter the draft.

To me, that whole $10 million Insurance Policy item is as much of an incentive for him to stay as it is to go. There are very few "unrecoverable" injuries any longer and the policy essentially insures him against anything else.

However, I have no idea what his relationship is like with his mother but in the past, whenever I read "I'll be able to set my family up financially" that is usually a precursor to "Dear Mr. Goodell, I can't wait to shake your hand on that podium."

It would be nice to see him play against better competition, but his stock is at the highest at the moment. I don't see what the majority sees with him, but he would be in a great situation with Texans, assuming they also address the oline.

I really doubt he stays

FWIW, if you look at his account he favorited a ton of tweets that were wishing him luck in the NFL next year. The vast majority of UL fans and media around here expect him to declare.

There probably won't be a better time to declare than right now. He's pretty much guaranteed to go to Houston, which is definitely a better team than their record would indicate. He'd have a monster defense and good offensive weapons off the bat not to mention a returning Foster. Tate will be gone more than likely but that team will recover nicely next year with him, unless he turns out to be a turd sandwich.

Schaub is gonna play the rest of the year for the Texans. If they can win that last game against the Titans and the Redskins lose out, we have a shot at trading up with the Rams for Teddy.

You don't think the Rams may go QB?

I think the Rams trade out with Cleveland if they pick 2nd.  There's too much for them to gain, and they seem like they want to give Bradford another shot.  For what it's worth, he seemed to be playing well before his injury.
If St. Louis trades out, geeze, they are going to have a load of first round pieces to build their franchise around, counting the first rounders from the RGIII deal.

That's a team with a bright future.

Not necessarily.  It's who you get, not what you get.

I could definitely see a QB-needy team jumping the Jags to grab Bridgewater...assuming the Texans don't take him.

Gotta get that QB though. And they have to start hitting on some of these receivers too.

yeah the trade with Washington turned out to be even better than expected, my big question for them is, are they gonna give Bradford another year?
