Quote:Your signature doesn't make sense. A cat doesn't kill me but it won't make me stronger either. I don't get it.

You can't even read my signature anymore. They are all invisible. So it makes no sense to say I have one.

But since you asked, this is what it means: Adversity can make you a better person. Even I know it is not supposed to be taken literally.

I can read your signature! It says "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger." I didn't just make that up you know?

Why can't I see any signatures then? I thought they were disabled because I can't see any of them, including mine, anymore.

One thing that does not kill you and makes you stronger is playing football.

Maybe you don't see signatures because your computer is not feeling well. When mine is sick, I unplug it for 24 hours and sprinkle holy water on it.

I'm starting to think we draft a receiver early or pick up a few free agents. Too many uncertainties at the position.

The only uncertainties at the position are a new contract for Cecil Shorts, when Justin Blackmon returns, and who the backups will be next year.

Oh, so just the two primary receivers then.

And the questions about them will be answered before the draft.

Will they?  Blackmon's reinstatement has no timetable, and may never happen.

Shorts is definitely a good piece moving forward, but doesn't look like he can do it by himself.

He also will be in the last year of his rookie deal, and is having offseason surgery on his groin.

This position is far from set.

Justin Blackmon is in rehab and the Jaguars are doing everything they can to help him, so I am optimistic he will be reinstated before the draft.

Offseason surgery means he will be a better player next year because whatever is ailing him will be fixed.

not necessarily.. Sometimes players don't recover as well and there careers are shortened. As for JB I hope he gets his act together but I don't think we can depend on him.

There is nothing wrong with thinking he probably will get his act together.

TE Reisner and LaRoy Reynolds activated to roster for tomorrow.   I'm starting to think the 3 TE set will be a significant part of the game plan with the WR corp depleted.

Yeah, it will have to be.

Reisner played pretty well in the pre season, no?
Boo I need mjd for the playoffs Sad

He did.  He's no speedster - but he has solid hands and he caught 2 preseason TDs.   Since Buffalo's secondary is pretty good (18 INTs this year) I think pitting TEs against LBs could be an effective strategy with our receivers banged up.

I think Harbor and Reisner could be open for a number of 8 yard gains tomorrow.  I have a feeling Noble/Lewis will be kept back in protection duties a bit more - but Lewis is sure to get a handful of opportunities to catch as well.

maybe not but it'd be foolish to not have a solid back up plan. Given his history you must understand my skepticism. I want him to succeed cause he had all the talent in the world.

Oh so just uncertainty with every receiver we have, k not bad.

Skepticism = pessimism. Learn how to see the glass as half full even if you don't expect the best to happen.

What makes you say that? Ace Sanders is a starter, so my statement means we have no questions about him.

. Yes skepticism can become pessimistic but in this case their is reason to worry. Skepticism is here for a reason.. It allows you think of alternatives in such cases. Also, I don't feel confident in Ace being a full fledged starter should we be without Black/shorts. Look at how good teams build. The Pats for example have a lot of talent players but that dosent stop them from drafting more talent/depth at that same position.
