Quote:I only have seen one game of his, against SDSU, and he didn't impress me at all.
I remember that game, he had a terrible first half, by far the game where he got consistently pressured and blitzed. Got lucky with the fg block. He led his team back so there's that.

This is like knocking Carr because his brother is David.

You registered for this board yesterday. You have a Carr avi and every post you've made is about Carr.

It's HeeRo

I never saw Derek play, but I wish people would stop using that argument. When Casey Matthews was in the draft, everyone knew he was not going to have the same success Clay 3 is. The opposite, how bad a player is, also applies. Nobody should judge a player on who his brother is.

Why do you ask? Sisters have nothing to do with it.

i said that because this poster could be a sister of Derek Carr and not a brother. get it?
Gloria Carr; they say she was 285lbs as a freshman in high school, better than both her brothers, and runs a 4.3 forty.
Quote:That should tell you somethig about "prospects"
It means that it's an imperfect science and if you're waiting for 'elite franchise level QBs' like that guy said then you are going to be passing every year, because locks like Luck and Peyton are once in a generation prospects. He would have said no thanks to Brees and Brady even.
Teddy, Bortles, and Carr are as bonafide as any.
I feel the same way about Carr as I felt about Sam Bradford, I don't want to like him, but I really do.

Oh JW

I thought Bradford would
not be the top pick because he was coming off right shoulder surgery. The Rams continued to struggle with him, proving you can't fix everything just by picking a quarterback first overall.

Yeah. He doesn't try to hide it very well.
No to Carr.Throws off back foot, not good when pressured

Just like his brother.
Don't buy into the Blake Bortles and David Carr hype. The only prospect that is widely considered a lock for a top 10 pick is TB. Hundley is another guy team could reach based on his "upside" and "potential". Carr and Bortles will be 2nd rounders.
