I have a warped sense of humor about those things. I earned it though. Up until a few years ago, I used to work those scenes. We needed humor to deal with what we saw. Sometimes reality was just too bitter to swallow. 
Well God bless you folks who do that stuff. When I was younger I earnestly considered being a cop until I watched the Red Asphalt series. I knew right then that I couldn't handle accidents with children involved.

No worries. It's something nobody wants any part of, and it changes you forever, like it or not. All you do is live with it and deal with it. I don't apologize for the way I handle some of the things I've seen. That comes with the territory that is "me"
