Part of the ease of schedule by teams is certainly intentional.

OOC games, maybe. But still, in the BIG 10 they're scheduled far enough in advance that its impossible to know the state of the programs they schedule when they finally face each other

We're in agreement there.  The B1G as a whole is even weaker than normal and that hurts the conference as a whole.  Some of the middle road teams (Iowa, Minnesota) are improving but the conference lacks big time teams.  Michigan is off, OSU is a top 15 team at best (IMO) Michigan State has a stifling defense but lacks an offense to be a true top team this year.  

since 2009 osu played 2 top 10 teams in the regular season or conference championship...record 0-2......sounds like an overrated program in a middle of the road conference

I give up. All of the OSU haters will refuse to admit the truth no matter what I say, so I am not going to waste time arguing anymore.
