I mean, afterall, Nebraska did way better in the Big 12 than Missouri/A&M. So how is it that Nebraska was just last seen getting bent over in their own house by unranked Iowa, and got embarrassed in their only B1G title game? I thought Nebraska was supposed to come in and run the weak Big Ten? Then, the two middle of the road Big 12 teams come in to the mighty SEC, and what happens? A&M beats the golden boy Cimson Tide last year, and now this year Missouri might be in line to WIN the SEC. Something it couldn't do in the Big 12. Not to say I think MU will win tomorrow, but I'd bet a lot of money they come closer than Nebraska in the B1G title game last year.

Good question. Here are some things I remember about their days in the Big 12:

1. Nebraska was not a powerhouse after Tom Osbourne retired. The year they played in the NCG, they only got there because of the stupid BCS system.

2. In 2007, Missouri was a top five team during its annual Border War with Kansas and a favorite to play in the NCG. Who else was in their division that year? Nebraska, of course.

3. Usually the best teams in the conference were in Oklahoma and Texas. TAMU had to play against Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State.

Edit: Nvm that was 2012 when Nebraska beat Mich St.  Still, they haven't exactly struggled.

LOL Nebraska also won their division in 2012.  Your whole post is pointless.  Just stop talking.

A&M had some NFL talent already on their roster plus they got Manziel.  Mizzou is just seeing the fruits of a good recruiting class.  Plus Mizzou has been a decent team over the years.  This has been their best roster in a long time.  I would say it's because of their added recruiting leverage being in the SEC.

Because Nebraska is a has-been program.

Didn't A&M lose 4 SEC games this year?

It's ok though because the SEC beats up on each other. Why else do you think A&M and Georgia are both ranked with four losses?

Name the team they lost to that isn't good.

UTEP, duh.  right they have no real good wins, BUT

they kept it close with Bama, Auburn, and Mizzou.  All top five teams.  I would bet whoever they play in a bowl game will get blown out.  I mean, what team is being done the injustice by not being #25 in their place??

Maybe.

The reason I brought them up is they are hardly "ripping through the SEC" as the OP said. With Manziel, Evans and Matthews gone I wonder what they will look like next year.

i know, i was quoting bigjohn who turned it into an anti-SEC point.
Simple answer. Everyone knows the Big 10/11/12 is better....

TAKE THAT SEC FANS!!!!!!!!!!

Georgia lost to Clemson who is garbage.

I believe that as well. What Osborne did at Nebraska was impressive considering he has to almost always leave the state to recruit. He came to Florida and got Tommie Frazier. He always had really good running backs like Ahman Green, Roger Craig, Mike Rozier and Lawrence Phillips. But they haven't been an elite program for over a decade. And they have not shown any signs of ever returning to those glory days.

Again, losing to good teams does not make you a good team.

no point in arguing with badger, his orange blue/sec glasses are always on and can't give an unbiased opinion.

what is that suppose to prove. Clemson is a decent team. 1 of 2 good teams in the ACC

they played them close. that counts for nothing?

i mean, what are you trying to say? that A&M sucks? are you kidding? if A&M were in the ACC they would be 1-2 loss team

A&M has had some legit NFL talent over the past few years. they are not some bottom dweller.

again, what team is getting disrespected by not being in the top 25 in their place. show me that team and you would not be able to honestly say that they would beat A&M in a game.

most unbiased opinions realize that the SEC is the strongest conference

who in here is unbiased? it's full of buckeyes and FSU fans. are they unbiased? far from it
