I watched New Girl a couple of times. Wasn't really impressed. While I am impressed with Sofia Vergara I still haven't watched Modern Family yet. Although, anything with Ed O'Neill in it can't be all bad... I must have other things to do during Modern Family's time slot...

New Girl didn't really start hitting it's stride until halfway through the first season. They have the characters figured out now and rarely is an episode a miss these days.
Quote:Laugh at me if you want...but I think The Golden Girls is probably one of the funniest shows to have been on TV!
Oh no, that was a good one too.

You liked that show?
Seemed like woman humor to me. I'm not saying it was a bad/ poorly written show because the writing was good, just didn't and wouldn't appeal to most guys.
Surprised no one mentioned The Jeffersons, or at least I haven't seen it listed. Real good show, back when sitcoms usually also included a good message too. Nowadays its all cheap humor with zero morals (for the most part anyway).

Loved it, absolutely hilarious. The Golden Girls crossed both gender and age boundaries.
Quote:No Love for any of the newer shows? Modern Family, New Girl, Parks and Rec?
I like Parks and Rec. Don't care for the other two.
I'm a big fan of The Office. Well, the first 5 seasons of it.

Well, when I run low on holier than thou I sure know who to come to.
The Cosby Show was another quality program that had a good message. Few like shows like that anymore.

If I had to pick one out of all of them as my mostest favorite. I would have to go with the Andy Griffith show.
Thats one of my favorites, too. I still watch it on TV Land.
