Ball and Blackmon have exceeded expectations as castoffs in Jacksonville this year. Gratz has impressed since returning from an ankle injury that cost him five games.

 

Starting to get some respect

It's some respect, but there are 35 other CBs ranked ahead of the category they're in.

 

Side note: Mathieu has played well, but there's no way he's currently a top 8 corner in the league.

Jonathan Cyprien is also getting some respect as a Rookie of the Week nominee, which Gratz was a few weeks ago.

I'm confused.  Am I supposed to be enraged about these comments or not?  I can never tell with the national media.

If you hear anything positive about the Jaguars in the media, you should be happy. Most of the time we are either criticized or ignored, so every bit of respect is a good thing.
