Quote:Does anyone have a video of his return? I missed it and I know he went about 30 yards. Thanks
made you a gif  - doesn't do it justice, but....

He basically just followed two blocks through traffic, but he showed some acceleration at key moments to get through the holes.

How long after the game until you can watch it online?

Thanks man. Ace is bound to break one soon!
How's old Ace doing in the punt return market? Lots of fair catches, eh?

Why do you even post here?
Quote:He is a big part of the team. In addition to his 39 catches (second only to Cecil Shorts<span style="color:rgb(51,51,51);font-family:verdana, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">' 66) for 397 yards, Sanders has carried the ball twice after lining up in the backfield, and he threw a 21-yard touchdown pass to Jordan Todman on a trick play against Houston last week.

Next year he may be an even bigger part, Sullivan said.

"Going into next year he'll be much more experience in terms of the multiplicity [of playing different positions]," Sullivan said. "The only thing that's not fast in the NFL is the commercials. Everything else is fast. Fast timeouts, and the speed of the game in pro football is fast. That's a transition not a lot of young guys [can handle]."</span>

Quote:Watkins is a burner. 4.4 40. Strong, athletic, good hands, threat after the catch. He could stretch the field while Blackmon would be dangerous underneath. Shorts would be a dangerous #3. Plus no more 8 or 9 in the box. Would make things easier on the QB.

Shorts struggled in the slot. I think if we had the perfect lineup put Watkins and Shorts outside and let Blackmon do his damage in the slot. That would be a very scary WR grouping.

Agree here and even switch Watkins with Blackmon but Shorts needs to stay away from the LBs and Box safeties and stick to beating corners down the sidelines. Watkins and Blackmon have the muscle, frame and mentality to go inside. Shorts is a pure finesse player suited for the edges.

That being said we really dont need Watkins but if we end up picking in the 8-10 range and Clowney,Barr,Bridgewater, and Carr are gone he might be BAP.

Imagine a rookie QB walking into 4 wide sets with Blackmon,Shorts, Watkins and Sanders.............Heck any QB not named Peyton would kill for that kind of receiving group right now.
Sanders has developed nicely and earned the chance to be a key role player in the offense and return game moving forward in the rebuild.  He's what you want to get out of your later round picks.  It will be interesting to see how he develops from year one to two.

Ace reminds me a lot of Darren Sproles and Danny Woodhead.

On Sundays you can watch game rewind vids about 20 minutes after the night game ends.

Basically - anytime the NFL is broadcasting a game live - the rewind stuff is shut down.  Any other time you can watch any of the games from any team/any week of the season.

My buddy that lives out of the US told me the other day he can watch the games live with the rewind package while overseas.  I'm thinking of gifting it to some friends and family next year that are in the military and stationed elsewhere.
Quote:Can't wait to see him next year!  Rookie year is usually tough on WRs and he's already playing well.  Another offseason with with Sullivan and this kid may be something special!

EXACTLY My Sentiments as well. I'm relishing the thought of his pptential progress in 2014. I feel that he'll be a serious weapon at the position. He may even be our third best option...

NH3...
Is Ace the first receiver to throw for a TD before catching a TD pass, or TD run and or a Kick Off return for a TD?

NH3..
Quote:ok, crazy.

I don't see his ceiling as that high. Welker himself was a high 2nd rounder, IIRC.

I think another poster compared Ace best - a similar player to Julian Edelman.
He was undrafted, but very few people even remember when he made a name for himself with the Dolphins.

He was their MJD in 06.

I wonder if patriots fans think:

Ace Sanders/thread and whether that would be considered an insult...

So we can expect 900+ yards receiving and 7 TDs from Ace next year?   That's what Edelman is on pace for.   Great news.   I thought you said he wouldn't last in this league?
