Great question! We would be a great turkey day regular!

We play Dallas in London next season unfortunately.

The earliest that it could possibly happen would be 2016 when we play the Lions at Ford Field.
The Titans are the only other AFCS team that could play on Thanksgiving in 2016, and as a matter of fact in both 2000 & 2008, the 2 other times the Jags could have played on Thanksgiving (Vs Detroit) the NFL chose to air Detroit vs the Titans instead.

I'd like to see the throwback jerseys thing brought back. It would be fun to see us trout out in the 1996 uniforms even though they aren't really that old.

A. The team is the least popular in the League
B. The team is 6 years removed from a winning season
C. It's all about Ratings and the Jaguars are not a big draw.
D. Khan has nothing to do with this team playing on turkey day. The NFL decides.

As said, it -could- happen as soon as 2016, when we play at Detroit,
It would probably have a better chance of happening should we get an actual franchise QB soon, such as a oh I dunno....Bridgewater?...and then start to win consistently and actually become a flashy high scoring team that people (non Jags fans) actually would want to see...

Don't forget we could appear as the night game on Thanksgiving in any given year and could even host such a game. As previously mentioned, this isn't likely to happen until we're a perennial playoff team.

TMD, you are correct in everything you mentioned ( not counting the night game factor Jaguarmeister touched on ) except that in 2000, the Jaguars weren't on the Lions schedule. That was 2 seasons before the AFC South came into existence. The Lions played the Patriots both in 2000 and in 2002 on Thanksgiving Day.
