Anybody else been impressed with how he is playing? He is splitting time with Evans at safety and has been a big special teamer too. Gus obviously knew him from their time together in Seattle and he looks like a great fit. He seems like a guy who isn't afraid to make a hit too. He made a great hit that knocked the ball out of Andre Johnson's hands and stopped a big gain.

Here is the video of the hit on Johnson.

Sweet looking play!

His play last week was noteworthy. I was wondering where he came from. Just another non-name roster move, but this time we got a keeper.

Big hair big hit

Still worried that par gratz and cyps drop our secondary hasn't really been near a pick
He had Predator action figures in his locker in Seattle. Was called the Predator in college. Loves them big hits.

Winston >>>> Evans
If we keep Winston him and Cyp could be the foundation for the most physical defense in the NFL.

He's just a guy

Leaving his feet against a defenseless receiver. He's lucky he didn't get a flag for that.

He hit him with his shoulders. No launching.

Irrelevant. He left his feet during the hit.
Regardless of the ruling on the play, it's nice to see a hitting tackle instead of a flag football pull that the league is leading towards.

Since when is leaving your feet a penalty?

It's been that way for a while now it's that "Launching" aspect that they take into consideration, and if you look, he looks like he left his last foot a good 2 yards before actually hitting him. it more than likely helped his case that Johnson was actually fading towards him making it look like he didn't travel as far of a distance before the hit was delivered.  On a side note however, with how the reffs seem to be calling PI on some teams and not for others i wouldn't be surprised if he launched from five yards out and they still didn't call it.
Prosinski would have went under him

Haha! I've never seen a guy get leapt over as much as Proz.

One thing is for certain, the bottom 1/3 of our roster is light years ahead of where it was at the start of the year.

I think he was going for the ball and Johnson got in the way.
We need more dreads on this team. Remember the days when Rashean, Stroud and mike Pete were on D, that defense was intimidating and had swagger.

With his hands nowhere near the ball?
