By looking at the current members list in terms of date, Jagsfan20 is the oldest member on the board. Joining on September 6th, 2000. By comparison, the next oldest ones are IndyJagFan, SkeeterRob, rfc17, JagsfanOh1, NMJAGFAN, Jaxjagman2, mwfsu84, Jagsfan24, and our very own, Shag52.
If someone from that time happened to be as active as FBT, and TMD in terms of posting, they would have a gigantic post count unlike anything we have ever seen before. The newest and most recent member is buttonmashers.

I am pretty sure post counts have been reset on multiple occasions.
I don't think we even had internet at home in 2000

Same here that was the dial up days and they didn't offer it out in the sticks

Post counts were reset when users were migrated from the original board several years ago. Many of the older posters who remain active had at least 20k posts on the original board that were lost. I know Shag and Skeeter were both part of the 20k club on the original board.
Where can join dates be found at?

Memebers > Advance Search (or more search options) > from the drop down screen at the bottom seach by join date

Then there was the board were deleted posts would be subtracted from the post count. Whenever the admins did a cleansing of the board history everyone's post count would drop, sometimes by a few thousand.

Skeeter was like the godfather of Jaguar fans when I first joined this board years ago.
A quick Google search showed me this beauty.
I've had a few different names going back to the 2000 season on the original message board. I was never active like Skeeter, Shag, or the others.

Yeah, there are probably a few folks on the board who have around 70-100k posts because of the cleansing and transitions to new boards.

I wonder why than that Skeeter would just "Disappear" from the board. In fact, searching up the list of mods and admins, there's more of you guys out there than just the core group of DragonFury, HIGH SCORE, rollerjag, and yourself. Some guys like Dakota and hb1148 just moved on, while others like CowboyBarry simply "Vanished".

Skeeter moved and found other things to occupy his time. Dakota isn't a mod any longer. Barry disappeared into the ether. I think there are only 5 active mods on the board currently. All of them are long-time posters.

Was 02 one of the original 4 mods? If so, I'm probably the second most senior mod on the forum

Yes, I'm almost certain Jags02 is one of the few, if not "The" last original mod remaining.
I know I joined in October 2005 I don't think I've ever had any post totals deleted or lost? I'm pretty sure my count is accurate.

Chronologically or maturity wise? :woot:
It is impossible to say when I joined the board because I used different email addresses to change my username over the years so the date you see here is not accurate. I would have been a Hall of Famer years ago if I had never changed my username, but I am glad I did.
Of course, I know I am not even close to being the "oldest" poster even if you go back to the username Brunell1997 because I became a Jaguars fan four years after lots of Duval County residents did.
