we should play more goal line style offense in the open feild. With all that extra room it'd probably help to actually get people off of blocks.
Just goes to show how good Caldwell is. The Rams traded up and used a first round rounder on Tavon Austin and we got a guy arguably as talented in the fourth round.

Theyre the same player. One was in an air raid system and the other had no QB and played in a run first offense. Really shows what a good eye Caldwell has.

I agree that they are very similar but I think Tavon is a little more explosive. But I would take ace in the 4th over Tavon 8th overall any day of the week.
I also liked that we traded down a few spots and got him while the eagles took Barkley lol. That extra 7th rounder got us Demetrius McCray.
Goes to show it's not where you pick, it's who you pick. I'm also very impressed with Gratz. The guy was a steal in Rd 3. Evans was a steal in Rd 6. The secondary is so young, but already becoming a strength. Dave Caldwell isn't just getting base hits, he's driving the ball deep for doubles and triples.

Austin is considerably faster, but we got the better value easily.

I feel like every single draft pick Caldwell selected has good upside and potential. I can't wait until he starts selecting defensive lineman and linebackers
I Personally want to see the kind of running back that he picks to succeed MJD
Do we go with an MJD style, Arian foster, or Mccoy

I'm glad I don't have a mindset like this. Some people do and I really do feel bad for you. Oh well not my problem

2 weeks in a row Ace has made a solid contribution. I wish the punt return in St. Louis was never called back.

Nah Tavon is faster and much faster but they both have scary explosion and change of direction ability. Tavon does have the higher top end speed though.
