Games Balls today go to Josh Scobee, The Defense, Gus Bradley, and the fans for having to endure the constant losing streaks. It appears that the Jaguars are finally getting out of the fog and are improving week after week. Better days are certainly ahead.
Let's stop with all this complaining about draft spots and just enjoy this win for once. This is the first time the Jags have beaten the Texans since the famous Mike Thomas Hail Mary game.
Cyprien is starting to get it. He's been improving big time each game.
I swear Poz had fifty tackles today.
The whole defense deserves one. Scobee, MJD, and the coachs.
Poz,Geno Hayes,Branch,MJD and Scobie
Defense: Bradley
Offense: MJD
The d-line as a whole played well and for a 2nd straight game Branch was all over the place.
I agree with the Bradley getting a game ball. His defense taking shape. Not perfect, but getting there.Holding the 8th ranked offense to 6 pts is excellent.
Physical and mental toughness has quickly become the hallmark of this team. They are starting to believe in themselves and in the guy next to them. I love watching this team play now. The didn't need a bunch of turnovers to dominate this game - and unlike previous Jaguar teams, I had no doubt the Jags would close out the game on that last drive. Only question was who was going to be the player to seal it. Thank you, Ryan Davis - who looks like a good young pass rusher.
Gotta give big props to Gus Bradley. I really thought coaching the Jags would wipe that positive attitude away, but it's the other way around. Gus has brought the positive energy and the fire this team needed. This is a quality win. I know the Texans are reeling, but going into their house, leading start to finish, holding them to 2 FGs, that's a pretty big deal.
Every unit has shown improvement in recent weeks. That's progress. Run defense, pass rush, 3rd Down %, kick coverage, minimizing penalties - it's all much better since the bye week.
MJD and the entire Defense...

Kudos to Gus Bradley. 1-9 teams don't usually go out there and play as hard as this one did today. They haven't quit. That's a credit to the head coach.

We went to their house...scored first, lead all the way and sealed the game with an interception.
Playing hard nose defense, "keep you out of the end zone" football.
Doesn't get any better than that.
Guess what guys we have a winning record, in our division!!! Heck yes!
What about Sanders making the play of the game?
Ryan Davis or Andre Branch, Branch came up big when needed and Davis's pick sealed the game.
Branch and Cyp looking better, which is much needed. 3 rookies in the secondary and Texans can't pass with Johnson/Hopkins
