That is what Charles Davis thinks.

I never thought about this because Lacy played for Alabama. However I do remember he was supposed to be a backup this season because Mike McCarthy loves former Jaguar DuJuan Harris. Who do you think is a better running back?
Hyde. Of course my opinion is a little bias. Both are great, but I just love Hyde's smash mouth ability
Considering Lacy is in the NFL and in the running for offensive ROTY while Hyde is still playing in college, I'm saying Lacy. Next year could be different
*made the mistake of posting before I read. Excuse me. I still think Lacy in '12 is better than Hyde now. Both are great but due to the better competition Bama plays, I'll stick with Lacy

It would be a good idea to not let the teams they played for cloud your thinking. If Lacy is better than Hyde, the reason is definitely
not where he went to school.
Hyde has more power, Lacy has more moves and is more elusive with power!
Lacy is proving himself at the NFL level.. Hyde is still in college and until he can prove himself at the NFL level too, I'm going to say Lacy is better..
Ohio St. cupcake schedule...lol.

That has nothing to do with who is a better runner. What makes someone a better running back is his physical ability, the way he moves, his football intelligence, etc., not his statistics.

Compared to Alabama's? Lol.

This. Nobody is giving Bama flack on this, but their schedule is pretty weak outside of the SEC high rankers

Look at Alabama's 2012 schedule. Now count their opponents who were ranked at the end of the year. Do the same for Ohio State. How many more ranked teams did Alabama play against than OSU, or did they play against the same number of ranked opponents?
4-2 in favor of Alabama with one shared opponent(Michigan).

So Alabama only played against 3 ranked SEC opponents - one more than Ohio State had among its Big Ten opponents. See, I told you the difference is not that great.
Prediction: Hyde will be a better NFL player than Archie Griffin.

Archie Griffin played for the Bungles.

That's quite the prediction, Nostradamus lol
I hope Carlos Hyde is better in the NFL than Archie Griffin was because he is a Buckeye.
