The Oklahoma receiver lowers his head and the defensive player gets the flag/ejection. I sure as heck hope that when they review it he isn't rejected.
Ridiculous.
Player stays, which is good. Penalty should come off to. Not even close to "Targeting"
There should be nothing in football vocabulary in regards to a "Defenseless Receiver". That just makes no sense.
I don't know but Bryce Petty sucks.

Was he the DB that got flagged?

I wasn't responding to the title of this thread. This thread is stupid and you've posted way too many times in a row. I suspect you are drunk.

Not a drinker. An upset fan of the game. The rule is stupid. Have I mentioned that?
In no way was that targeting or even unnecessary roughness. It was as clean of a hit as you can get, although I would have preferred if the guy had wrapped him up first. That was a flat out ridiculous call.
Another ejection that made no sense: Bradley Roby. It was obvious he aimed for the shoulder and even hit the shoulder first. There is no way you can call it targeting the receiver's head. Why can't they take into account the indisputable fact that helmet collisions are often accidental? When that happens, they should not even throw a flag.
