Anyone else notice the blatant helmet to helmet hit after the whistle on 3rd and goal with seconds to go --- NO FLAG.
Rams would have had first and goal at the 1 foot line with 26 seconds or so. Bad non-call in my book.
NOPE. Forgot to record show following game. Recording ended at 2 min warning
The one thing that I noticed is that even among bad teams with extreme talent at specific positions have the ability to compete with a team like Seattle for 4 quarters because the talent gap among the 31 teams isn't that significant. It is amazing that the Jaguars have managed to accumulate an organization of no-talent to even be able to fathom staying in a game like that.
Oh, one more thing related to MNF. Joeckel stonewalled Robert Quinn in the 1st quarter in his 1st game as an NFL LT before he got hurt. I am taking that positive into the off season.

Well, St. Louis does have a Defensive front seven made up of five First Round selections; Brockers, Quinn, Long, Lauranitis, and Ogletree. Granted, their Offense needs some work, but they have a lot of talent on the Defensive side of the ball.
I'm getting sick of the NFL. Really enjoying college football much more.

If you have a DVR, you can set it to end a few minutes later than scheduled. I always set it for half an hour after its scheduled stop time when I have to record a football game.

You obviously don't know what college football is doing now. The NCAA is ejecting and suspending players for HTH hits. That makes it less enjoyable than the NFL.

If you are referring to the play I remember, it was on a running back at the line of scrimmage. No helmet to helmet call applicable.

Yeah - I want to see brain damage!
How much college do you really watch? They are much more severe re helmet to helmet. I guess they are not tough enough for you.
You didn't see the first play of FLA v Missouri, did you?

Lauranaitis
should have been picked in the first round, but somehow dropped to #34.

Ah! My mistake.

We've fallen hard.
That was a good MNF game to watch though. Seattle I think is falling away as a favorite at this point, but obviously still quite strong

It was a linebacker spearing the RB - leading with his helmet - after the whistle. The most likely penalty would be a "late hit" personal foul.
It was most definitely helmet to helmet. The dude's head rocked back violently from the impact and the LB that delivered the blow had to be helped off the field - so you must be thinking of something else.

The HTH rule applies to all players on every play.
