Quote:I don't think he meant wholesale changes. I kind of think he was referring to shrinking the defensive play schemes...not necessarily unloading a bunch of guys. Although at this point why not? Get what you can and move onto the future. If I was a Jags fan, I'd dump Marcedes Lewis in a New York minute; he's one big, clumsy, fumble-prone receiver.
4 fumbles in 274 career receptions is fumble prone?

Those 4 fumbles are fumbles lost. He's definitely fumbled more than 4 times in his career. Perhaps we just prefer different TE attributes?

Bravo good man.. Bravo.. +1

I never said I liked Lewis. But I really don't think being fumble prone is one of his issues.

IDK...I just get so nervous watching him run with the ball. I was watching the game yesterday with my dad, and when Lewis was running I told my dad he was going to fumble...he did. I think it's the way he secures the ball and trods along that makes me so nervous. Kind of just wish we had a solid "go-to" TE. Other teams seem to develop them, really wish we could. Run blocking is fine, but I'd much prefer a TE that is considered a weapon (Whitten, Gronk - when healthy, Graham,). I know it takes time to build, I'd rather just move on from Lewis at this point. Definitely will have to wait until next year for anything to change for the positive.

I'M A LOSER BABY, SO WHY DON'T YOU KILL ME!
He's going to petition the league to give back his Seattle job.

meh...maybe the Jaguars should petition that the league gives him back his Seattle job first....
Maybe he's going to start handing out juice boxes and orange slices at half-time in order to soothe any hurt feelings in the event he happens to raise his voice on the sidelines.

This. ^

I don't think Bradley is necessarily talking about any major change in personnel - just spending the bye week trying to find a way to stop the run.  Probably just adjusting  scheme.  Maybe we'll see a few different faces at DT and OLB.

No they're not. Lewis has lost 3 fumbles in his career out of 4 fumbled balls total. with 274 touches that makes 1.46%. By comparison Jimmy Smith had 1,39%.

And I get a bit nervous when I'm in a plane during take-off but that doesn't mean something is going to happen.
I also think he was referring to defensive scheme. We all read during the offseason how complicated Bradley's defense can be between the 1&2 gap scheme and some of the press zone concepts the DB's play. I'm not surprised there has been some struggle with cohesion there.

I also don't think it was a coincidence that our best defensive performance came against Manning when we seemed to play more Cover 2.

Stanzi time? Would be nice to see a different face.
Quote:Well its not debatable that Calvin, Aj, Dez and Julio are better right? If I have to waste my breath explaining this to anyone theyre not worth the time. He could possibly be the 5th in the next generation of WRs but he's got a lot to prove.

This honestly couldn't be any worse than what we've been doing.
