Quote:but but but chad henne makes us competitive. lol. Yeah right and people thought he was going to be the solution to our qb situation

lol the Gabbots are still delusional, lol I highly doubt anyone on here thought Henne was the "answer" to anything.

Haha So true.... No one ever said "Whew.... thank god we got Henne back there now. We are set at QB for a while!"
No what's embarrassing is the fact that we have a top 10 pick at QB who is worse.  That is what is embarrassing.

Me!!!!!!! I'm not delusional because I have come to realized that Gabbert is not the answer but unlike some of you i'm not going to constantly insult him like a jilted lover because he didn't our expectations as a NFL player. He didn't ask to be traded up for, drafted and mismanaged by this sorry excuse for an organization but unlike the rest of you, I respect the fact that he tried the best he can to be a great player for this organization. It's not like he didn't put the work in to become a better player for this team and it's well chronicled the thing he had done during the last 2 NFL offseason to work on his craft.

People like you and others took pride and glee of the fact that he was a failure during his tenure here to the point where some of you want to call this man one of the worst QB's in NFL history. IMO the reason why Gabbert would never be in the same category of a bust NFL QB like Ryan Leaf, Akili Smith, Jamarcus Russell and David Carr because not only those players were drafted higher than him and was failures but was well documented about their lack of efforts to develop their skill to become great players. Bottom-line is that i'm going to always respect and hold no i'll will towards Blaine Gabbert as a person because base on the evidence that was reported throughout his career here he gave it his best. However, luck wasn't on his side and unfortunately he won't be our answer at QB moving forward so therefore, we have to move on from his era and be excited for the next qb prospect for this organization.

It amazes me that teams like the Bills can put in a quarterback from the practice squad and he goes and win games and look decent. Even the Browns had a third stringer playing at a high level and won with him. Yet the Jags can't find a piece of a QB.

Awww that's cute.

Are you implying Henne isn't trying his hardest?  Shouldn't you have no ill will toward him either?

Every QB bust that there has ever been could use the excuse you make for Gabbert.  Stop crying about it.

But hey at least Gabbert gave it his all right?

Oh yeah he did ask to be drafted that high.  Players don't enter the draft not wanting to be drafted.  He could have stayed in school another year.  So yes, he sure as hell did ask to be drafted that high.

yeap that's right gabbert have given his all and I respect it but in the case of henne I don't hold no ill will towards him but unlike you my whining friend I don't get gullible over henne passing yards during garbage time.

Oh here comes the whining insult.  Come up with something new for once.

Please show me a post where I have praised Henne for anything.  It was actually last week when I said this team needs to look for a QB on the free agency.    I realize you are slow and have to make stuff up to fit your argument, but please spare me.

Yep, he could've stayed in school and I agree with you but what we don't know is why he wanted to leave school so early in his career. Maybe he felt maxxed out playing in a system at Missouri that is known for a gimmicky offense so therefore wanted to practice his crafted early at the NFL level with better coaches.

Yes I am sure that is it.  HAHAHAHAHA

You are over matched.  Just give up now please.

My good friend I didn't say you specifically was praising henne but lets not act like there wasn't people on here saying henne is night and day better than gabbert whens it's clearly not the case. When both players are in at qb its the same result as in we're getting blown out by the opposing team. Personally, i'm going to judge henne's performace harder than gabberts because he's an 8 year veteran who is not only losing games but making mistakes like a rookie qb. You threw yourself into my rant thinking I was just targeting you when I didn't mention you by name at all.

Yeah that first comment wasn't towards me at all was it?
Hahaha luck has nothing to do with being a good NFL player.

No my original rant wasn't towards you specially but once you engaged yourself to respond to my rant then I spoke my mind to your replys. Either way we're all jag fans here and In my mind there's nothing wrong with a litte healthy debate.

If you say so my friend

Yeah you are delusional because you like all the other Gabbots think that someone saying Henne > Gabby somehow means Henne = Hall of Famer.  I doubt anybody was actively rooting for Gabbert to suck, most are fans of this team so who ever helps the team usually gets supported.  Gabbert on the other hand did nothing to help this team so many were ready for him to go, I'm sure you like the other Gabbots who have been insisting the past 3 years that he could be anything more than average took to heart his ineptness more so than anybody else.

Manning Brees Rodgers Peterson Calvin AJ Green. .. they're just lucky!
Henne was never meant to be a starter or even a backup. Gene paid him $5 mil so that he could boost Gabbert's confidence in comparison. That plan failed as Gabbert was never meant to be a franchise QB, rather a project that held the clipboard and never saw the field.

Just maybe its not the QB but the OC and playcalling. Yesh BG is bad and henne is worse. But the play calling of run run pass would make any top QB look like they are usless slobs. The play calling it worse then the QBs we have. that is just the plain truth of it.
