Quote:Yet he dismisses suggestions that the Jaguars could relocate to London, even though an ESPN survey found that only 0.4% of US fans made them their favourite team, the lowest in the NFL. "Frankly I think it's very premature for any team to consider coming to London," he says.

0.4%?

Wow. I wonder what our percentage was in the 90s.

0.4%? I know we aren't the most popular but geez.

IMO, thats what happens from a long period of lack of big time high profile playmakers.

We had Mojo, and.....? Nothing from 2008 onwards.

If Blackmon continues on the path to stardom that he's on, and we actually add some legit bona fide stars in the coming years, that number will jump up.

No one to blame but Gene and his base hit garbage strategy.
.04%...That must be about 100 fans from zero

There it is, folks.
We just gotta get back into the playoffs and make it deep. Once we get that first Superbowl appearance and hopefully a win, that will kick it into overdrive. The current band of leaders are pushing us in the right direction!

No, thats only part of it.

If they make it deep with a bunch of nobodys like they had before its not going to make us any more popular (or or only a little).

We need more high profile stars like Blackmon to increase the popularity significantly.

Granted, for me as long as they start winning next season, thats the most important thing, but I'm just answering the above.

I agree somewhat, but to make it into the playoffs and especially win a superbowl, that would kind of already be there. I think if we draft a high profile QB (instead of grabbing for a Gabbert.......) and make another good draft, we'll get some of those types of players. I think we need to make a splash this free agency. I don't know who's available, but we need to be more active this year. I agree with you about getting some named/high profile players, but ultimately, wins = getting more fans.
what a terrible article.  referencing online forums calling him a terrorist and sand monkey combined with flight bag check inspections since 9/11?  give me a break, it's an insult to all south asian americans.

this guy is a savvy self-made billionaire, wow, lets focus on the petty negative instances of life rather than rag to riches miracles.

It was an ESPN online poll.

Not exactly scientific stuff....    Although I doubt the number is actually much higher than 1%.  1.4%  maybe.    (3.125 would be an equal 32 share)

N9thing the article said was untrue. Reading some of the comments on Jacksonville.com after Khan bought the team was just sad.

Let's not pretend it's only a Jacksonville or a USA thing...stupid people and racism are everywhere.

Of course not. But those comments were the most visible and, considering the market, the most relevant.
