Jack Daniel's in legal fight with small distiller
LOUISVILLE, Ky. –  A white whiskey named for a famed Appalachian moonshiner started out being sold in Mason jars, to honor its roguish roots, but switched to square-shaped bottling. That new look has the upstart distiller embroiled in a trademark infringement fight with Jack Daniel's Tennessee whiskey.

Yeah. They practically reused old empty JD bottles.
They're probably a little too similar, but the square bottle is an ancient design.  I agree about possible font changes, but there are tons of square bottles out there.

All the same, Apple won a lawsuit against Samsung a few years ago by claiming to have invented the rectangle, so anything is possible.

Yeah, that's the ticket.

Interestingly, Apple lost that patent in every single country except America. I'm not saying, I'm just saying.
